Blackpools' first Ukip drop-in centre

A large local charity shop has opened its doors - and hearts - to assist Ukip Blackpool South to establish a firm presence in the town.  The telephone number above is that of the charity and Ukip Blackpool South can be contacted on 01253 401 058 or Mobile 07597523453.  Over the next weeks we hope to introduce you to the caring people of this wonderful charity, not part of Ukip but whose founder is a Ukip supporter and member.

For the time being local activist Steve Flanigan will avail himself in the newly opened charity shop on Bond Street - formerly Ethel Austen - on Tuesday mornings from 10.00 to 11.00 am and on Thursday afternoons from 2.00 to 3.00 pm, for anyone to drop in and talk.  There are private facilities for anyone who would like help and feels embarrassed at enquiring.  Any  nervousness can be assuaged as Stephen was a long serving caseworker for a well known national charity, therefore all personal details will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

The drive is to now fulfil the local need to counter the generations of false promises from bogus politicians; to create a convivial atmosphere where local residents can relax with a cup of tea and have hands on experience of solving their problems.

We are also looking for volunteers to come and learn.  There are courses to be had which can teach or assist in understanding the complexities that ordinary people have to manoeuvre to the by-pass the obstacles put in place, the perpetual smokescreens which have allowed the injustices as with Mid Staffs NHS and the odious Sir J SaVile to go unpunished and uninvestigated.

The R.E.S.T Foundation welcomes all to its cafe located in the back of the shop.
