Lieber leader another migrant from...

The smiling face of old New Lieber that betrays every instinct of a traditional Englishman. From moving monies around which could secure the mother of his children's election onto the council, to not having the decency to legitimise his own children so that their futures are secure under law (that would take too much explaining to those who don't understand the difference or balances of English marital law).

On behalf of my Aunt Phyllis, a donkey walloper, you insulting bastard.

Blackpool fans are ‘donkey botherers’

Towering blunder ... Labour leader Simon Blackburn

A TOWN councillor scored an own goal by labelling fans of his local football
team "donkey-botherers".

Labour leader Simon Blackburn made the crack about followers of seaside club
Blackpool on Facebook.

And last night he faced calls to quit after being accused of stabbing his
constituents in the back.

The gaffe came as Councillor Blackburn watched Blackpool play Lancashire
rivals Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League last Saturday.

Confusingly, despite LIVING in Blackpool, he COMES from
Blackburn and SUPPORTS Rovers. When Blackpool were ahead by two goals
after 29 minutes, he posted on his Facebook site: "Oh my actual God... the
donkey-botherers are 2-0 up thanks to two of the worst refereeing decisions
ever!"

A touch of nostalgia. (with thanks to friends on Facebook)

Young Eden Holton was much smaller here than, when, in the Sgts Mess, the Depot RhA, playing Bokbok, he propelled himself across the line and smashed the Mess into a lecture room next door.

Robin Brown was laughing his socks off as he drank his illicit whisky, he was to have been next. Good example from the CO of the Artillery. Well done, Sir.

PS. Does anyone know the whereabouts of his, Robin Brown's, son-in-law Kevin Schlaghter?

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Fisher's Field

Development will go ahead with plans for the field with NO consultation with residents of Lennox Court, residents whose lives are blighted by vandalism, abuse, trespass and wilful damage of their property.

Whatever happened to consulting victims?

Problems with dog dropping have not been addressed. The fence that supposedly protects the residents only makes the damage and nuisance of balls hitting windows and smashing TV dishes worse.

How would the Councillors know if they do not answer emails or visit residents who have evidence and opinions that contravene theirs?

Not that Gordon Marsden MP is any use in this instance.

Work begins to transform Fishers Field
Fishers Field in Highfield Ward will soon be transformed into a family-friendly community space as a number of exciting new developments are ready to take shape.

The £250,000 development, externally funded through the Play Pathfinder Programme, will see a number of improvements and additions to the area. This includes a new Multi Use Games Area with 3G surface, perfect for all-weather sports, and a new children’s play area.

General improvements will be also be made to the area including landscaping and the installation of new pathways and seating. This will all help to make the space a great place for the neighbourhood to use, bringing the community together and providing an area for everyone to enjoy.

A new site entrance will be positioned on Highfield Road, providing an attractive welcoming to the area.

Cllr Lily Henderson MBE and Cllr Sue Fowler, Highfield ward councillors, have been involved throughout the process to support the developments, allocating some of their ward budget to the funds. Cllr Lily Henderson MBE says: “Fishers Field is currently only used for playing football, but these new developments will mean there is something for all the family to enjoy. It is really important to give children and young people a place to play in a safe and fun environment and an area for the elderly to sit and enjoy.”

Cllr Sue Fowler added: “We have been campaigning for a long time to put the space to good use and it’s great to see it becoming a reality. We are really looking forward to seeing the residents enjoying the new facilities in the near future.”

Mass arrests of British perverts

Watching British police at work, it is a wonder they can do more than issue parking tickets. The first service to go completely politically correct, they have made it impossible for ordinary persons to make innocent remarks, but question there capacity to perform their duty and YOU will be targeted for their misplaced sense of duty.

Immigrant overstayers

181,000, that's in two years!!!

How many millions are there in the most overcrowded country in Europe? Only yesterday there was a petition to 10 Downing Street about the low level of benefits to families. Strange, how every petitioner was an immigrant. If they can't survive on my tax money, F**K OFF back to where you came and live on your own taxes and benefits.

Up to 181,000 migrants who should have left the UK over the past two years could still be in the country illegally, new figures have shown.

The UK's points-based visa system can be exploited, according to auditors

People walk past the Immigration and Nationality Directorate

The UK Border Agency (UKBA) estimate shows it does not do enough work to check migrants are leaving the country if they have no right to remain, the National Audit Office said.

But Immigration Minister Damian Green said the report showed exactly why radical reforms to the UK's immigration system were needed, and said changes were already being introduced.

They have called for the UKBA to prioritise ensuring that migrants leave when they should - and to set national targets to tackle those who overstay their visas.

The Audit Office also said the agency "lacks the ability to easily identify individuals whose visas have expired".

Japan hit by massive earthquake

Powerful tsunami hits Japan after massive earthquake, triggering alerts across Pacific

Japan earthquake

ONE of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded has hit Japan, unleashing a 10-metre high tsunami that tossed ships inland and sparked fears that destructive waves could sweep across the Pacific Ocean.

The devastating 8.9-magnitude quake left many people injured in coastal areas of the main Honshu island and Tokyo, police said, while TV footage showed widespread flooding in the area.

At least 26 people were reported dead but the toll was expected to rise significantly.

A monster 10-metre wall of water was reported in Sendai city in northeastern Miyagi prefecture, media said after a four-metre wave hit the coast earlier. The government said the quake had caused “tremendous damage”.

Helicopter footage showed massive inundation in northern coastal towns, where floods of black water sent shipping containers, cars and debris crashing through streets. An oil refinery was ablaze near Tokyo.

Our American Allies, on the same side?

For the past forty years I have been reminding people of the duplicity and deviousness of Sinn Fein and their IRA murderers. Financed to a great extent by the likes of Gaddafi in Libya and Noraid in North America, it makes intelligent people question the purpose of Blair and his associates collaboration and intimate, incestuous relationship with what the World now calls terrorism and terrorist.

Ireland has been cleansed of Prodestants in the South and is gradually being victimised out of the North, a Province always called Ulster, where more VC herald from than the rest of the UK. For their loyalty and sacrifice we got Blair and his devious relationship with the IRA terror gangsters, McGuinness and Adams. Now Adams is the chief architect of unification through the fiscal measures of a corrupt and inept Dublin government. And you expect the people on the terraces of Ibrox not to understand what has happened a few miles across the water with their ancient kith and kin?

For Lawmaker Examining Terror, a Pro-I.R.A. Past

“We must pledge ourselves to support those brave men and women who this very moment are carrying forth the struggle against British imperialism in the streets of Belfast and Derry,” Mr. King told a pro-I.R.A. rally on Long Island, where he was serving as Nassau County comptroller, in 1982. Three years later he declared, “If civilians are killed in an attack on a military installation, it is certainly regrettable, but I will not morally blame the I.R.A. for it.”

As Mr. King, a Republican, rose as a Long Island politician in the 1980s, benefiting from strong Irish-American support, the I.R.A. was carrying out a bloody campaign of bombing and sniping, targeting the British Army, Protestant paramilitaries and sometimes pubs and other civilian gathering spots. His statements, along with his close ties to key figures in the military and political wings of the I.R.A., drew the attention of British and American authorities.

A judge in Belfast threw him out of an I.R.A. murder trial, calling him an “obvious collaborator,” said Ed Moloney, an Irish journalist and author of “A Secret History of the I.R.A.” In 1984, Mr. King complained that the Secret Service had investigated him as a “security risk,” Mr. Moloney said.

New regs on car insurance

Don't say you don't know because your vehicle will end up being scrapped or sold at auction

Amplify’d from www.moneysavingexpert.com

Warning over new compulsory car insurance rules

A new law will make it compulsory for all motorists in Great Britain to insure their vehicle unless it has formally been declared off-road.

Everyone must soon get insurance now if they use their car, van or motorbike but this will be extended to all vehicles that are taxed, even if you don't use it.

The new regime will begin in late spring though no firm date has been set.

This means those with vehicles kept in a garage for long spells are most at risk of falling foul (see the Cheap Car Insurance guide).

The rules also affect motor caravans that may only be used for brief spells at a time, which many people only currently insure for part of the year.

Anyone caught without insurance faces a penalty in excess of £1,000 and could have their vehicle destroyed.

Kitchener reinvades the Desert

Whilst Gaddafi organises his allies, the world looks on and does...?

Britain eventually reacted and found a warship not yet in the knackers yard and got Sir Steve Redgrave to paddle it into Benghazi. Unfortunately they had the Navigation Officer from HMS Nottingham on the charts and she put it on the rocks on the Isle of Wight. The Navy, not put off by this setback, promoted the miscreant to Admiral, provided Ipods for the crew and waited for Flanagan and Allen to lead the Crazy Gang on board for a celebration party led by Civil Servants from the Ministry of Wasted Taxes.

Field Marshall Haig said he ordered in the powerful helicopter fleet to perform a farce in the Sahara Theatre. Surprising the local farmers with their audacity and brazen ingenuity, they settled to handing over their H&K's to the shotgun wielding horticulturist whilst the Crazy Gang joined their leaders in a chorus of "Run Rabbit". Liam Fox has mobilised The Duke of Atholl's regiment and will march them across the Alps in the Spring to reinforce British troops in the Med sometime in 2018.

Fractured leadership, Gaddafi fightback threatens Libya rebels

Mideast Libya

A split has emerged in the leadership of the Libya rebels, as Muammar Gaddafi's forces continue to pound civilians and the US faces increasing calls to act.
Source: AP

A SERIOUS fracture has emerged at the top of Libya's opposition as Muammar Gaddafi's forces continued to pound rebel positions in the west and centre of the country.

US President Barack Obama is coming under increasing pressure to mount US-led intervention in Libya, as civilians came under increasing attack from forces loyal to Colonel Gaddafi

The head of the Interim National Council, which the opposition says is an alternative government, said if Gaddafi stepped down within 72 hours he would not be prosecuted for war crimes.

Only three hours later the official spokesman for the council, Abdelhafiz Ghoga, would not endorse the offer.

The international community remained divided yesterday over whether to agree to a no-fly zone to prevent Gaddafi using his jets to attack protesters and rebels.

Blackpool Winter Gardens gets clean-up

The sterile façade opposite the newly refurbished Winter Gardens is the carbuncle predicted by the Prince of Wales. Not only is the cobbled access a nightmare for wheelchair users, but the anaesthetic square has not single endearing feature. No greenery, not a shrub, bush or tree to placate the eye, no integration between the businesses the area desperately depend on, or easy parking to compete with the out of town retail sites.

It is the horse designed by a committee.

Renovation work of Blackpool's Winter Gardens uncovered

The Floral Hall in the Winter Gardens

The Floral Hall in the Winter Gardens is the centrepiece of the £1.25m restoration work.

The first phase of the restoration of Blackpool's Winter Gardens is officially unveiled on Friday.

The Floral Hall, Church Street entrance and Rotunda have been refurbished as Blackpool Council tries to restore the building to its former glory.

Stage one of the renovation of the landmark cost £1.25m.

During the work, plasterwork designed by renowned film set designer Andrew Mazzei in the former Floral Hall Bar was discovered.

The plaster had been covered up since the 1960s when the space was converted to an amusement arcade. It survived, along with its original mirrors, almost completely intact.

It has been restored and will be a new art deco cafe.

The work was funded by the council, North West Development Agency and European Regional Development Fund.

Local RMA Club about to commit murder

Election Day for the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Royal Marine Association.
The knives are out for some of the resident committee, which should have happened half a decade ago when the former Mayor of Rhyl wrote his epistle to the membership, never aired or discussed.

Just about every rule has been broken since it's inauguration as a large percentage of Bootnecks walked away from a cabal led private club. The most significant remark heard was when a former SBS member left the Savoy to the call, "they're not fucking Bootnecks!"

Nothing has been said over an incident at a recent function, about a senior committee member causing distress to a recently widowed lady, surely the carpet is so unevenly mountainous with the rubbish brushed underneath should interest H&S?

You would think that a CLUB with so many councillors and JP's within its membership would be beyond reproach!?!?!? Thankfully they don't frequent the public houses where ordinary folk imbue.

What is intriguing is that those exhibiting most angst within this Club are not members, according to R & R, have no voting rights but whose voices drown out those of real former Royals.

Blackpool politics drowning in moral turmoil!

It is now common talk that the conjoined twins, the Bell Boys will not be standing in Talbot Ward for the Conservatives. Hoorah!! But that says nothing for their successors whether Lieber, Cuntservative or Lib Demented.

Blackpool is ripe for Independent minded, fearless representation with councillors who can resonate with the ordinary, exhausted and over imposed Sandgrown’uns. Not only has their voice been silenced by PC and the over abused bigotry label, but it has been confined to meaningless whimpers by political organisations all too eager to promote their evil and proven corrupt philosophies. Had anyone just watched the debacle of Barnsley this week, all wishes for honest and straight-forward speaking were have been rendered aghast at the dogma of again one party politics practised by an electorate ignorant of the centuries of fight from the Thomas Paine through the Free Enterprise generations of Thatcher and Milton Friedman.

What few grasp is that life and circumstances are fluid. The dogma of 20th Century socialism has failed on a universal level with whole nations screaming for the supposed Utopia of American commercialism. Look behind the charade of American TV and films and you will see corruption equal to anything seen in the Old Soviet Nations. Everywhere the disparity between rich and poor is becoming wider and more visible. Petty corruption, perceived or otherwise, is rife and illustrated with the local angst over monies to councillors for legitimate(sic) political expenditure. What is the more heinous, the thousands of pounds siphoned through Ron Bell and Ian Fowler’s legitimate business interests, or the excessive travel expenses for Simon Blackburn or the money he shifted from his ward to that of another ward where his Common Law Wife will be standing as a candidate?

To use an old fashioned Lancashire metaphor, shit stinks. What also stands true I that I seems that no sooner has an honest and well meaning person been elected as a voice-piece for you and me, they suddenly loose the capacity to think and act for themselves. What hypocrisy dictates that the Blackpool South MP can sit amongst, work amongst the most corrupt set of individuals outside of the Banking Industry and NOT be aware that such malfeasance is taking place? Yet his silence was/is legendary. What made a God worshipping choir boy and prized local hero as a former serving man, sufficiently wealthy to have the £20k needed to front his political ambitions, think that he had the credentials to remove the much hated incumbent Labour MP? Almost 19.000 people voted for him and a forensic examination of his supporters may reveal that they knew nothing of the individual and, like the Hartlepool hosts, voted for a symbol; or perhaps there is a desire just to rid themselves of this troublesome incumbent?

This ought to be asked in the coming council elections of each and every person standing. A long look at local blogs clearly indicates that this will never happen. The stench of hypocrisy that emanates from Town Hall will only change in odour from Pig Shit to Dog Shit unless the electorate turns out in force and vote according to evidence and not dogma. No chance. The incapacity for fluid thought is all too evident when Man becomes politician.
