Insanity of the Social Service liberalism

What insanity, stupidity or basic greed induced an abduction which triggered one of the biggest manhunts in West Yorkshire's policing history costing £3.2m? Convicted - Karen Matthews and Michael Donovan conspired to kidnap Shannon, whom was drugged continually over a two year period to facilitate another crime, which was eventually to claim what they hoped would be a £50,000 newspaper award – the Maddy syndrome.

The suckering in of a poor neighbourhood and duping of decent, ordinary folk into acts of collective warmth and caring is heartening in one part, yet a diabolical example of what is so wrong with society in another. Three decades and more of Liberal intervention into social cohesion has left us with a distorted sense of responsibility. I have always argued that it is not my responsibility for the likes of Karen Matthews, but I do concede that it is a collective responsibility to her thirty odd kids conceived to the massed divisions of the unemployable. In the USA they have got tough on feckless women and are trying to make mothers’ responsible for their action – after all, if you do not have the pleasure of producing a child do you have the parental responsibility for his/her upkeep? If you think yes, then how much responsibility does the mother have? Fact, these mothers are not tied down and raped by society. In an age when contraception is easily available and FREE it is incumbent on women as well as men to bring up their children they willingly produce. It is not right that the couple or even single member of society, who chooses not to have children, should finance families with no such scruples. Open you legs girls, open your own purses and not my wallet.

This case destroys the liberal myth that women do not get pregnant to finance a lifestyle of their choice. Oh yes they do. It used to be a laugh (sic) amongst taxi-drivers that the Thursday night widows – financed by child allowances – would hit Blackpool with more money in their pockets than the cabbie that was having to WORK.

Social Services have been involved with this tribe for several years, yet there was no scheme in place to teach this evil bitch social responsibility. It must have been really ghauling for the social workers who attended this woman. She would be receiving in excess of £30k - in working money terms – in benefits, with not an inkling that she ought to improve her own lot by industry and hard work, thus give guidance and leadership to her children.

Well done the ordinary housewives of the Moorside Estate. The shame is that you cannot open your doors as they opened your heart to the plight of Shannon Matthews.

At the end of the adventure , this evil pair was to release the child into an open market to be interviewed by police who would not get to te bottom of it all! Perhaps, just perhaps, they would have released her in a shroud? I think so.
