Death of a Reporter of News

Journalist pays price of truth with her life

Marie Colvin of The Sunday Times was courageous, dedicated and utterly determined to tell the world of atrocities committed by despotic regimes. Yesterday those virtues cost her her life. She was one of two journalists killed by Syrian forces in the city of Homs, prompting Western governments to pledge to redouble efforts to end…

I wish the papers would revert to English.  As much as this brave lady must be remembered, the truth is that she is a reporter of NEWS and truth is subjective, in her and amongst us all, and not a God blessed certainty from a News Media whose history is also suspect.

Bless you, Lass, for doing what you were good at.  Damn you Times for mixing your metaphors.
