Multi-millionaire civil servants

The multi-millionaire civil servants

Inquiries by The Sunday Times have established that at least five former
Accenture executives held substantial shareholdings while in government.

One is Gill Rider, director-general of personnel in the Cabinet Office, who
has shares worth £4.6m in the company, which has its headquarters in
Bermuda. She has already cashed in an estimated £5m in shares. Her colleague
Tim Gbedemah left the Home Office last month. He has a shareholding in
Accenture worth £10.3m.

This piece is well worth the reading. After nearly twelve years of Labour moral standards, we can see what the politicisation of the Civil Service has lead to.
The once vaunted Whistle Blowers Charter has proved to be nothing more that a worthless piece of legislation to get rid of concerned and decent Civil Servants.
