To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if she will issue guidance to police forces and police authorities on the application of the provisions of the Fraud Act 2006 to (a) bailiff operations and (b) local authority officials who employ private bailiff companies.

I have no plans to issue guidance to police forces and police authorities on the applications of the provisions of the Fraud Act 2006 to (a) bailiff operations and (b) local authority officials who employ private bailiff companies.
Decisions on whether and how to investigate a crime rest solely with the police. Such operational issues are the ultimate responsibility of the chief officer of the force concerned.

Austin Mitchell's family, according to rumour, have been victims of illegal bailiff action.  He asks questions in the one place where it is forbidden to tell the truth lie and he is fobbed off with a none answer.  Welcome to and with other victims, Austin.  You are lucky, one victim died and not a single plod cared enough to investigateAt least you can go direct to a Minister.  Most of the victims have to go through absentee MP's!!
By the way Austin, if you come across Labour MP's for Accrington and Blackpool South, tell them what it is like not to get representation in Parliament.
