ALERT - Mass ransomware spamming event targeting UK computer users

The NCA's National Cyber Crime Unit are aware of a mass email spamming event that is ongoing, where people are receiving emails that appear to be from banks and other financial institutions.

The emails may be sent out to tens of millions of UK customers, but appear to be targeting small and medium businesses in particular. This spamming event is assessed as a significant risk.

The emails carry an attachment that appears to be correspondence linked to the email message (for example, a voicemail, fax, details of a suspicious transaction or invoices for payment). This file is in fact a malware that can install Cryptolocker – which is a piece of ransomware

Cryptolocker works by encrypting the user’s files on the infected machine and the local network it is attached to.

Once encrypted, the computer will display a splash screen with a count down timer and a demand for the payment of 2 Bitcoins in ransom (Approx £536 as at 15/11/2013) for the decryption key.

The NCA would never endorse the payment of a ransom to criminals and there is no guarantee that they would honour the payments in any event.

Lee Miles, Deputy Head of the NCCU says "The NCA are actively pursuing organised crime groups committing this type of crime. We are working in cooperation with industry and international partners to identify and bring to justice those responsible and reduce the risk to the public."

An NCCU investigation is ongoing to identify the source of the email addresses used. Anyone who is infected with this malware should report it via Action Fraud

Advice: This is a case where prevention is better than cure.

• The public should be aware not to click on any such attachment.
• Antivirus software should be updated, as should operating systems.
• User created files should be backed up routinely and preserved off the network.
• Where a computer becomes infected it should be disconnected from the network, and professional assistance should be sought to clean the computer.
• Various antivirus companies offer remedial software solutions (though they will not restore encrypted files). 

Labour progresses Blackpool into the Dark Ages

Town hall bosses today laid bare the full devastating cost of Blackpool’s brutal cuts crisis, which will see 700 council posts axed over the next two years and savings of £36m by 2016.
Almost £16m must be slashed from the 2014/15 budget alone, followed by around £20m the following year.
Around 250 jobs will be lost every year under the savage measures, while 100 contracts will also not be renewed each year.



What this lamentable article fails to mention, even once, is that Blackpool has another failing Labour administration, failing more substantially than ever before.  I can imagine that not one of the councillors read the latest advice from the TaxPayers Alliance?  I will go further and suggest that no Labour Councillor will read anything other than mandates and dictats from senior Labour officials.  Those very same Ministers and such who have failed on every count from child protection, producing reliable evidence to prevent unnecessary conflict I.E. Afghanistan, to balancing the books.  Their adherence to Marx is so misguided especially when the real books they ought to have studied were those of the Marx Brothers.  As an introduction I suggest a thorough two minutes to read Groucho Marx’s reply to the Warner Brothers.
What makes matters worse is that the public has a right to expect that elected councillors will hold and control unelected officers, who supposedly work for us, the people, to account.  They do not because they cannot formulate the questions that matter.  Really hard questions like…Where is the money?...  What do you mean, you don’t know Councillor ********* is a paedophile? (shock, horror).  How much of my expenses can I place in my Council Pension Pot?   

Silly me!  That’s the only question allegedly, ever asked by the “Noblese Oblege”.

So, Labour!  Where are the Conference centres, the sports facilities, the Olympic size swimming pools and the arenas to follow up on a legacy and tradition of supplying the masses with cheap, first -class and world renowned venues?  At the Derby Baths!?!?  Hmm.  I rest my case in Central Station's left luggage.
PS.  It is rumoured that someone called Casey Jones has had to cancel the Connonball Express into South because the electrified lines are too modern.  Anyone with an Old Beeching Pill?  Winter isn't just coming!  Under Labour it has arrived early.

They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions.

100% will usher in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace.. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law.
The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death.
Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate.

Today's 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world's population. But their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers.
Muslims will exceed 50% of the world's population by the end of this century.

How to spot a lie.

We were stationed in Germany and my father, a Marine was doing a tour in N. Irelend.  On the very same day he had witnessed his best friend killed, he came home and I pushed all the wrong buttons and he smacked me and sent me to bed.  Later, full of tears and crying his heart out on the foot of my bed, he cried and cried not because of what he had seen in Ireland, but because he had smacked me...

If you're going to lie, do your homework.  How do I know this is a lie?  Ask any Bootneck and if they can't see the flaw then too were never a Royal Marine!

It is the same with statistics.  Only last night on Question Time they rolled out the myth of two million Brits working on the Continent.  All this to destroy the argument of massive immigration that is never discussed, only shouted over.

A Massive Lie.  Yes there may be two million Brits living abroad, but a massively high percentage are those in retirement who have chosen to follow the sun for their last years.  The rest are working in the holiday industry because the British tourist wants English speaking people around them to make them feel at home.  If they want to feel at home why don't they holiday at home?  Because they want to get premature cancer and die before their pensions run out?

There are those - sad minor politicians - who would try to stop pensioners spending their pensions as they - pensioners - wished.  These are basically socialists.  The sad brigade who want to control everything because they never achieved anything in their own sad lives.  Control freaks?  Just look at the Labour Party and the sad people who vote for them for no other reason than their illiterate fathers voted for them.

So much for wasting billions of pounds stirling on education!

Open Door- anyone can sue, except real victims

Mohammed Ahmed Mohamed, the terror suspect who escaped surveillance wearing a burqa, it is revealed is seeking damages from the government in a human rights legal challenge involving allegations of torture, it has been revealed at the high court.
Mohamed, who was the subject of a terrorism prevention and investigation measure (Tpim), managed to disappear by disguising himself as a woman. No he did not!  He hid under a burqa.  Even Lily Savage didn’t hide behind a Black Shroud and call it female.
The 27-year-old was last seen fleeing a London mosque in the burqa last Friday. He is understood to have received training and fought overseas for al-Shabaab, the Somalia-based cell of the militant Islamist group al-Qaida that is said to be responsible for the Westgate atrocity in Nairobi. Their claim, supported by a plethora of anti-British Lawyers, is against the Foreign Office, Home Office, Ministry of Defence and the attorney general. The claim is they were tortured and mistreated during their detention in Somalia and claim the government is liable to pay them damages under the 1998 Human Rights Act for complicity in their alleged ill-treatment.  Not a bad line against a Government who can’t pay its veteran’s pensions!  He and another man, referred to as CF, allege the British authorities consented to or acquiesced in their detention by the Somaliland authorities on 14 January 2011.
The alleged terrorists say British "officers and agents … by their acts and omissions, procured, induced, encouraged or directly caused, or were otherwise complicit in" their detention, assault and mistreatment and torture while they were in Somaliland.  We can say the same against the Police and MI5/6 as they stood aside as alleged demented followers of Mohammed decapitated a Lancastrian bandsman on the streets of London, but we all know how absurd that charge is?
So what have we learned?  Not only is this wonderful British citizen a former resident at some terrorist training establishment, but had been arrested in a foreign country and subjected to interrogation!  He entered the UK without documentation and was permitted by the lunatics-in-charge to go about his peaceful business.
Not as million years ago the very same Government removed the British passports from White Africans because they had the audacity to call themselves Rhodesians, defied and attempted to repulse the inevitability of African catastrophe in a country they had made beautiful.  My, that is almost racist even if true.  The same British Government said nothing as the New Zimbabwe government disarmed the Whites and systematically murdered tens of thousands in a process of Africanisation, a process that has spread to neighbouring South Africa with the horrendous killing being perpetrated there.  The murder of Whites was bad enough, but Mugabe went to Hitler/Stalin/Moaist extremes and murdered tens of thousand Black Africans.
There is enough here for me to reiterate my opposition to the Lib/Lab/Con trick of open doors to anyone with a gripe against civilisation.  Just because one former Somali emigrant can run fast and is a decent human being, that does not mean we have to forget all those who murder our policewomen and commit other heinous crimes within our borders, because our system is terrified of being labelled RACIST.
 

From Belgium to Blackpool, maybe

It is Sunday, a Holy day for Christians, so we had best not mention the Christians being murdered in Indonesia, Egypt, Nigeria and many, many Muslim countries.

I am not a Christian but was brought up with Christian values.  Having lived and once learned a language where Islam was the predominant religion, what I see in  Europe fills me with dread. The do-gooders stand on the throats of fellow dissenters and fill our airwaves through the BBC with malicious and hatefilled propaganda.  For just raising these concerns I am opening myself for prosecution under some insidious law that denies Freedom of Speech and expression. If the police can't investigate Corporate Murder and can bring down a senior political figure for spurious reasons, then what chance does a disabled former regular have? :)

All I can say is look what this evil false religion has done to the daughter of a former soldier, Samantha Lewthwaite, as she stood by whilst her sick, sad , evil husband left her for a Heaven filled with Virgins, taking 27 innocent travellers with him?  Listen Love, if a pretty British girl couldn't humanise your sick lover/husband, perhaps you ought to have introduced your Jihadi warrior to the Met Fire Arms teams?  All you had to do was make a secret call and tell the Fuzz you've got the low down on  a Brazilian Nut!
