Geoff Hoon is the latest minister to face questions over his expenses claims for a second home.
Last year, Prime Minister Gordon Brown received £17,073 in controversial Additional Cost Allowance payments and Chancellor Alistair Darling £9,837 despite both living in Downing Street.
Home Secretary Jacqui Smith is under investigation by a Westminster sleaze watchdog over her decision to name her sister's house as her "main" residence and claim expenses on her family home.
And Employment Minister Tony McNulty's claim for staying in his parents' home in London is also being examined by Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards John Lyon.
The Committee on Standards in Public Life is now to report by the end of the year - rather than after the next election - on its recommendations for reform.

It cannot be right to be able to claim for a home for which you are receiving rent whilst you live in a "Grace and Favour", tax exempt, paid for by the poor, the pensioners, the millions in threat of loosing their jobs and homes, home.

Isn't it an offence to drive people crazy while using a mobile phone?
