The crazy addiction.

Patrick Swayze still smoking despite being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer

Swayze has been a 60-a-day smoker for years, and research shows that smokers are twice as likely to get pancreatic cancer as non-smokers.

 blog it
Strange how smokers all know people and relatives who smoked 80 a day and lived until they were 130.
None had friends who died of smoking related diseases? Strange also that I attended a friend's funeral only Monday, and have several female friends prematurely interred in Carlton Cemetery, including my grandmother who died at 57. No. Smoking had nothing to do with their early demise either!!!
When you have nursed a loved one through the last stages of cancer, then all the protestations of interfering in the enjoyment of others has a hollow ring.
Personally, I don't give a fig if this man smokes himself into an early grave. I am concerned for those around him who have to endure his habit at their own risk to their health.
