Let them spin this any way they wish. When invited to spend just two minutes to understand why they, the political classes, are immensely hated, Gay Gordon left it two two of his puppets and quietly slid, like some swamp pest, into the distance. Then puppet junior decided to question irate veteran instead of listening. One more word and junior puppet was within a mentally deficient utterance of needing dental treatment. All the while Marsden confirmed a lie to his propaganda pamphlet that he is concerned for the plight of disabled veterans. Like all politician of the Con-Lab Lib conspiracy, they are concerned only for themselves.
What sh*tes these political figures are. And some veterans will vote for this dross because of family dogma. Try questioning them instead of listening. It is they who are supposed to represent us, and it is we who have upheld our part of our contract with them, in return for nothing. And Marsden cannot give one of his own constituents two whole minutes. Evil bastards.

Blackpool elections

There is a move afoot to expose Ron Bell for not the nice guy he portrays himself. As a former bootneck, I wouldn't trust Bell an inch. As a lifelong Conservative I find his adoption as candidate for Blackpool South the last straw. It has been bad enough for me as a healthy heterosexual, a soldier all my working life, to be represented by Gordon Marsden. Apart from his awful politics and his gender- and I am not homophobic- if the homosexuals in politics concentrated on their work and not looking over their shoulders at the forest they carry, perhaps I could accept them irrespective of what the law says.
And don't tell me I am being homophobic. Just ask what Marsden has done in the case of Andy Miller or when there is a difficult question posed. He followed the whip. Obscene. The problem is that Bell will be as bad.

Britain under a cloud

Look at that cloud. Not the red one in the North (that's the top) but that enormous BLACK cloud swamping the South East (London plus). I am informed that it is the illegals getting out of France.

It is said that you judge the man by the company he keeps. Anyone who thinks Lord -Prince of Darkness - Peter is anything but a corrupt opportunist must be sharing a cell with the Krays. Well, that means you don't pay tax either, or filling in correct tax returns, or abides by the laws of the land.

What price military discipline now?

A soldier disciplined by the army after missing a parade to look after her daughter is set to receive damages after winning an employment tribunal claim. Tilern DeBique, 28, said she was forced to leave her job because she was unable to organise childcare. The former corporal, who was recruited on the Caribbean island of St Vincent, won a claim of sexual discrimination following a hearing at the central London employment tribunal yesterday. DeBique was told she was expected to be available for duty at all times and that the army was "unsuitable for a single mother who couldn't sort out her childcare arrangements", the tribunal heard.

She was formally disciplined after failing to turn out on a parade in January 2007 so she could look after her daughter, the Daily Mail reported. A month earlier, she missed training after her daughter fell ill.

After leaving the army in 2008, she launched employment tribunal proceedings and won her claim for sexual discrimination.

The lunatics again run the asylum. I don't mean the idiots on the London Employment Tribunal, but your MP, and mine, whose laxed scrutiny of the laws passed by this corrupt Government meant that this law was enacted from Europe without being derogated. Look it up. It means the British Government does not have to enact certain laws if that law is against national interest. The soft minded politicians on all side appear to think that Europe is wonderful, yet most European Countries have derogated laws which take military legislation out of normal action. They at least, realise you don't have normal laws for an abnormal regime.

Blackpool Conservative get on their bus

The Blackpool campaign has started with less than a whimper. For once the Conservatives have found a use for a Blackpool Corporation bus, but typically it does not involve carrying passengers. It is blazen with party slogans and support for their candidate, a man who has a record of getting into cabals and sinecures, who brandished his credentials as a JP as if he was a demigod, but when you check his record stands up to nothing. He and the Labour blond make good bed-fellows. In 13 years Labour has done nothing tangible for Blackpool, except watch this once wonderful town become increasing family unfriendly.

I wonder who is running the Conservative campaign. On their website they say absolutely nothing about local affairs whilst the entire town is biting at the bit over the awful Town Centre development, lack of public transport in the evenings, loss of routes and the unacceptable policing of busses when the school mafia make their way back to what they would call homes – and some want to give 16 year olds a vote. What a great disconnect between reality and what the Conservatives are not talked about. In the next days they will paint the town hall pink – as suggested by that First Class traveller Councillor Ian Fowler, ignore the burdening debt as the higher paid salaries of Council Executives spiral into the ridiculous. Or is it Councillor Manure who insulted the veterans in Rhyl with his patronising disrespect for others history, with the only olive branch offered is for veterans to be given a piece of tin, the Veterans Badge. Veterans should not need badges, nor should we need to exhibit medals won to have respect earned. If Councillor Fowler wants to give special privilege to homosexuals and lesbian groups because they are endangered minorities, how endangered and how special a minority are those who actually fixed bayonets and charged into a massed ranks of enemy that was intent on killing them?

It is all well and good to insult veterans, the removal of serviceman’s Pension under the 1975 Social Security and Pensions Act went unchallenged, but now again Labour is repeating this act of mass theft but with Civil Servant’s the target group, it has become not a nice exercise. The silence from Blackpool conservatives on these issues is a damning clarity at the awareness of local politics. The Civil Service is the second largest local employer after the tourist industry and they are handling the issues with as much imagination as they have the tourist trade. Apart from increasing costs and employing more executives to tell us what we already know, they have come up with nothing new. Tell the truth about the state of local politics and you are pillioried on the limited and partisan attitudes of second rate - I have been told I class them too highly - conservative-labour-libdem politicians.

Why is the Conservative candidate suspect? In local council expenses returns his telephone bill was identical, I repeat identical to that of his brother and fellow Conservative Councillor. How can that be? Apart from showing a complete lack commercial intelligence especially with a plethora of telephone packages available from the likes of Car Phone Warehouse, Skype and many others, the fact that two councillors who are brothers and live in separate houses can have identical telephone accounts is rancid. With MP’s expense still clear in everyone’s minds, this simple example of injudicious accountancy hits a raw nerve. I have more to ask.

What is missing is an agenda of public consultation or old fashioned hustings. I cannot see the conservative candidate allowing me and my evidence to be part of a public platform of scrutiny.

This is not about Labour. Those who voted this illegal, immoral and thorough disgusting party into office over the past 13 years should consider their sanity.

Insurance no assurance of payment

An injured British soldier who was invited to parade the Carling Cup at Wembley has been told it could cost him his £25,000 insurance payout. Private Dave Tatlock who was told he would never walk again after being seriously hurt in Afghanistan bravely hobbled onto the pitch in February.

The soldier, from 2 Para, was seen carrying the trophy in front of thousands of fans and TV viewers before the final between Manchester United and Aston Villa.

The following day the insurance firm handling his injury compensation claim blocked the payout and said his claim was being "reviewed".

Pte Tatlock had taken out £56-a-month private cover with Abacus, which specialises in Armed Forces insurance, before being deployed to Afghanistan.

"Some jobsworth somewhere has seen me walk out on to the pitch," he said. "I don't know why they have tried to do it... words cannot express how angry I am."

Note the man in civvies carrying the Para's walking stick. Perhaps we should find the jobsworth and have his legs broken. No, just a joke, honest...

Peers scrutineer needing scrutinising?

MPs' expenses: Peers' watchdog filed overseas hotel bill

The House of Lords official who oversees its discredited allowances regime, Michael Pownall, has claimed expenses for luxury hotels and tailoring. The Clerk of the Parliaments billed the public £1,500 for a week at the Hilton hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, papers released under the Freedom of Information Act show.

Mr Pownall, who is paid about £170,000 a year, has been criticised for being lenient towards

peers accused of misusing their allowances.
