Which made them,
regrettably, scandalously, worth more – to themselves and to the men who
used them – than they were to almost everyone else. For there is another issue here, and one that
should be at least as uncomfortable as the Asian dimension for Rochdale and for
British society in general. If these young women were treated as worthless by these Asian men of a
certain age and disposition, they were nonetheless seen as worth a little
perverted attention. They were not even worth that to
those who were supposed to be responsible for them. How could it be that
juveniles, below even the age of consent, were so poorly looked after, that
they were regularly staying out, frequenting takeaways and mini-cab offices,
putting themselves in danger, and no one took the slightest notice?
In the article above by Mary Dejevsky, Asian grooming: The truth is that these girls were worth more to them than to us : the question is made but not answered. I am no sage but will comment from years of observation.
My
main concern with the SYSTEM is that it has morphed into an industry that cares
only for the “workers” and very little for the subjects the workers are paid by
the taxpayer to “care”. I rest my case
at the law courts and the feet of Sharon Shoesmith who responsibility in
keeping Baby Peter (Peter Connelly) safe appear secondary to the hurt felt or
implied by her obvious incompetent as a senior Public Servant.
It is that same system now ensconced in every council office in England
that knows every rule for long and continuous employment, but has little idea
on how to keep the vulnerable safe. What can be more illustrative than in the crimes perpetrated above?
Not
that I am blaming anyone except us for allowing this experiment to fester. I once shared a house with two other divorced
males and Sundays could be mayhem with children running amok; not pleasant when
you’ve just worked an 18 hour night shift.
One of my friend’s five children was noisy and irritating, as all eight
year olds can be when confined to a house.
As I dragged myself round the kitchen making toast and tea for a tribe I
didn’t know, I used a trick I had used on my niece a decade earlier, found a
book and tried to engage the child in less frantic activity. To
my amazement I discovered the child could not read. What made me furious was that his father did
not know, and worse didn't care as it was the school's responsibility, not his, had never sat with his son and paged through the fantastic
choice of free entertainment via the public library? In a long winded way this is the problem with
society and England in particular. Those
parents who cannot discern the line between responsibility and rights are
equally let down by systems through “dogmatic adherence to socialist” education and later social indoctrination
into how a society should behave.
We
have lived this experiment all my life and it is a failure. The youngsters who pour me my overpriced beer
are a cross section of today’s youth. Some
are brilliant but you always get those who have spent a fortnight behind the
bar and can tell me how I should receive my small pleasure for which I am
forced to pay a pensioners ransom.
Having supped in pubs for over fifty years, it is bad enough that Maggie
Thatcher first tried to interfere with my ancient pleasure, but for someone who
can’t tell the difference between a top ferment or bottom ferment brew goes
beyond the acceptable.
That
is society in a pint pot. Sharon
Shoesmith was paid over £100K per anum for a job she was obviously wholly
incapable of doing properly, but the Courts decide that her dismissal was worse
than the fate of tiny Peter Connelly and awarded her a trillion pound
compensation. That’s the crux of what is
wrong with society today. That argument
can be carried on and laid at the feet of politicians who dare to moralise and
dictate whilst swimming in cesspits of political nepotism, cultural patronage
and out and out malfeasance. The Courts
are telling us that we have to accept terrorist in our midst and politician are
destroying our culture and society by flooding the country with Labour Voting
aliens. All the Time Cameron, now two
years into office, has done less than nothing.
The Flagship for his navy still and will remain for ever on the dry dock
of incompetence and indifference.
At
a time when public apathy permits spin and outright lies to be sold as truths,
the underlying truths are that the inept English dross has committed harikiri
by attitude and lack of involvement other than to breed another generation of the
“workshy” who are not fit to stand in silence in memory of OUR Forefathers. If these parents cannot participate in the growth and education of their won children, how can we expect these same parents to participate in the everyday dialogues on intellectual politics that is above the "how much child benefit do get" level?
Unless you've served Queen and Country you should have NO access to this country, no voice and no bloody benefits. That goes to the politicos. Get the young into the NHS and teach them how to care, now there's a job and we don't have to keep raiding the Philippines and Zimbabwe for their trained personnel.
