An insult too far. Blackpool want to honour a charlatan

Fylde Ex Service Liaison Committee intend to add insult to the real dead Soldiers by building a place of special remembrance to former Councillor Territorial Officer Jim Houldsworth.  The bower, bigger and better than anything donated to "The fallen" will be donated by ???, on the 29th June this year.  So who is paying?  No-one knows.  Perhaps it will come from one of the Secret Accounts as disclosed in previous blogs.  Or perhaps that wonderful mouthpiece for soldiers affairs, Julian Manure has the money in his wife's bank account, just in case?
No-one knows.  The original police investigation at the behest of the Blackpool council leader must have been handed over to Yates of the Back Yard, he who did not investigate any crimes committed by politicians in Westminster, who declared no malfeasance by the Murdoch Emperor, who shot off to the Middle East to subjugate the democratic rights of the people of Bahrain.  It must be noted that the final say on any prosecution is in the hands of the DPP(CPS), the same body whose Preston representative on Criminal Matters left her post to join Rossendales Bailiffs right in the middle of listening to victims angst.
If the squeaky clean members of the Fylde Ex Services Liaison Committee Executive are so proud of their history, why were they plotting to keep accounts and minutes of meetings away from the members of the Service community?  And why have no members of that Committee never asked to view accounts or minutes?  No wonder the majority of former regulars do not belong to the Cabals.  Another handsome donation to the local RMA for another dinner may assuage any dissenting voice from that place.  Pots, piss all come to mind.

Once you become a Committee person, do you forget how to read Rules and ask questions?

  4. As with any organisation that has a committee, the onus is on the members of the committee to hold the Officers to account. That does not happen at the FESLC. A phrase I heard years ago, and if anyone watches PM Questions you will understand it -"The nodding donkey brigade" are people who will go along with anything the person in 'THE CHAIR' wants. The late JH did do a good job, but at the end of the day, your last efforts are what people remember and in his case it was that shop and secret bank account which he mentioned in the press when his partner in crime at the shop was arrested. Still we have political parties handing out honours and awards like sweeties to well-behaved children for doing absolutely nothing to make my life easier.
