Rhodesia. Police on parade.

I was having dinner with a very nice family recently, and the charming young man, the son, asked me, "What is Rhodesia?"
This intelligent young man is a result of history trying to erase the finest nation in the world from out psyche. Rhodesia was the last oasis of civilisation in Africa before the exercise in stupidity took hold and expelled the White races from the Continent. Since then it has deteriorated in the cesspit that the Labour Government would love to aspire to in Britain.

Rhodesia was not and never was South Africa.

The men parading above are members of the Police Force, the BSAP.

Govt wins Iraq vote

Troops leave Iraq

The government has defeated a Conservative attempt to have the Iraq inquiry conducted in public.

It's majority was cut to 39 votes, but the motion was rejected by 299 to 260 votes.

Earlier in the day, foreign secretary David Miliband said the Iraq inquiry can "praise or blame whoever it likes", despite Gordon Brown's earlier insistence it will not be allowed to apportion blame.

Serious stuff about Burma

Dear Friends,
We've just heard that from inside
Burma’s notorious Insein prison Aung San Suu Kyi has asked her lawyer to thank the tens of thousands of people that wished her happy birthday last Friday.
Her lawyer Nyan Win just released this message: "She said she thanks those at home and abroad who wished her a happy birthday, because she cannot reply to everyone".
Burma's brutal regime wants the world to forget Aung San Suu Kyi. The tens of thousands of people like you that left birthday messages of support to her sent a strong message to Burma's General's. We showed that the world will never forget Burma's democracy leader or any the 2,155 political prisoners currently detained in appalling conditions inside Burma.
We'd like to thank everyone that left messages of support for Suu Kyi on the website, http://www.64forSuu.org and on her Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/aungsansuukyi. If you haven't sent her a message of support yet there's still time, just go to http://www.64forSuu.org.
Thank you for all your support, together we are making progress.

Poem of the week

I want a floating duck house
I want to clear my moat
I need to mend my tennis court
That’s why I need your vote.
I have to build a portico
My swimming pool needs mending
My lovely plants need horse manure
And the Aga needs much tending
A chandelier is vital
Mock Tudor boards are great
My hanging baskets won awards
And I’ve earned a tax rebate.
I need a glitter toilet seat.
My piano so needs tuning
Maltesers help me stay awake
And my orchard must need pruning
I could have said the rules were wrong
And often thought I should,
But somehow it was easier
To profit all I could
The public really have to see
That the rules are there to test
And by defrauding taxpayers
We were just doing our best
The Speaker of the House has gone,
Our sacrificial beast,
But the public are still braying
For our corpses at the feast
What do the public want from us,
Those vote-wielding ingrates?
They really should be grateful
To be financing our estates.
The message is so very clear,
(we’re merely learning late)
That the British way of living well
Is to screw the bloody state.

Dear friends,
On Friday 19th June, it will be Aung San Suu Kyi’s 64th birthday. She will spend her birthday detained in the notorious Insein Prison.
On May 18th Aung San Suu Kyi was put on trial, charged with breaching the terms of her house arrest after an American man, John Yettaw, swam to her house and refused to leave. The dictatorship is using the visit as an opportunity to extend her detention.
Her trial has now been adjourned until 26 June. Aung San Suu Kyi has already spent more than 13 years in detention and faces another 5 years in prison.

The uncensored expenses files show that Miss Ussher, who was only appointed Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury in this month’s reshuffle, temporarily changed the designation of her main home for tax purposes in early 2007, shortly before she joined the Treasury when Gordon Brown became Prime Minister.

Under tax laws, everyone must designate a property as their main or principal home, on which they do not have to pay tax on the profits when sold.

Her first words, I have done nothing wrong.
My last words, Go Straight to obscurity. Do not collect £200. Lose all your pension rights. Lose all your parliamentary rights. GO to prison.

Genius from the Two Ronnies

Rindercella and her sugly isters lived in a marge lansion.
Rindercella worked very hard frubbing sloors, emptying poss pits, and shivelling shot.
At the end of the day, she was knucking fackered. The sugly isters were right bugly astards. One was called Mary Hinge, and the other was called Betty Swallocks; they were really forrible huckers; they had fetty sweet and fatty swannies. The sugly isters had tickets to go to the ball, but the cotton runts would not let Rindercella go.
Suddenly there was a bucking fang, and her gairy fodmother appeared. Her name was Shairy Hithole and she was a light rucking fesbian. She turned a pumpkin and six mite wice into a hucking cuge farriage with six dandy ronkeys who had buge hollocks and digbicks. The gairy fodmother told Rindercella to be back by dimnlight otherwise,
there would be a cucking falamity. At the ball, Rindercella was dancing with the prandsome hince when suddenly the clock struck twelve. "Mist all chucking frighty!!" said Rindercella, and she ran out tripping barse over ollocks, so dropping her slass glipper.
The very next day, the prandsome hince knocked on Rindercella's door and the sugly isters let him in. Suddenly, Betty Swallocks lifted her leg and let off a fig bart. "Who's fust jarted?" asked the prandsome hince. "Blame that fugly ucker over there!" said Mary Hinge.
When the stinking brown cloud had lifted, he tried the slass glipper on both the sugly isters without success and their feet stucking funk.
Betty Swallocks was ducking fisgusted and gave the prandsome hince a knack in the kickers. This was not difficult as he had bucking fuge halls and a hig bard on. He tried the slass glipper on Rindercella and it fitted pucking ferfectly.
Rindercella and the prandsome hince were married. The pransome hince lived his life in lucking fuxury, and Rindercella lived hers with a follen swanny.

Broon fails again

So finally there is to be an inquiry into the execution and reconstruction involved in the war on Iraq. It is to be overseen by a former senior Northern Ireland civil servant who knows a thing or two about secrecy - Sir John Chilcot - who also sat on the Butler Committee which investigated the intelligence on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
It is to hear evidence in private and will not have the power of legal subpoena - specifically the legal power to require people to attend or divulge documents. That last fact seems to be the central criticism of the way the inquiry has been set up, coupled with the secrecy. But the people supervising the inquiry, whilst lacking a certain amount of diversity, have been largely welcomed. Gary Gibbon will be reporting on Mr Brown's announcement.

Action's speak louder than words. By holding this inquiry in private shows the disrespect that politicians have for the ordinary Brit who are the backbone of the British dying nation. If this is what being a 'son of the Manse' means I am glad I was brought up by an ordinary, hard working Northern family.

Laugh of the Day in Blackpool

Taken from the Ron Bell relaxed use of the English language:

3. Finally, our elected representatives should demonstrate leadership and refuse to travel First Class. Not only would this result in significant savings it would more importantly acknowledge that they understand the concerns of the electorate regarding public spending and the need to “tighten our belts” something that they seem well able to preach yet unable to practice.
At the end of the day what all elected representatives, and I obviously count myself in this number, must acknowledge is that we exist to serve the people that voted for us, they are our true bosses and they are most certainly not here to serve us. Unfortunately, I sometimes feel that this important fact is often forgotten or worse conveniently ignored.

I bet he never cleared this piece with Councillor Ian Fowler. And there is a whole group of former regular Royal Marines who would dispute the last statement. As both a Bootneck and a devout Conservative, I find this choice of candidate worrying.

Needless to say I will be doing everything I can to make sure this town rejects him and his loose, nay, politicians form of speak. Blackpool get's what it deserves. It deserves a better pair of parties than Labour and Conservative.

Blackpool's Conservative prospective MP speaks

clipped from www.ronbell.org.uk
Greedy, hypocritical with their snouts and even their heads firmly rooted in the proverbial trough. This according to the media is how some if not all of our Members of Parliament are perceived by the public. Unfortunately, from the stories that keep appearing in the media this perception seems to be far closer to reality than any self respecting individual would care for it to be.
1.
Firstly, I believe that all Members of Parliament must publish on their website a complete break down of all the funding they receive for undertaking their duties; allowances, pay and expenses etc. I know that some Members of Parliament already do this but it must become standard practice for all. The fact that many choose not to do so only fuels the public's misgivings and feelings of mistrust.

I almost wrote - with forked tongue.

Here is a man who refused to allow members of his own organisation, I use the expression very selectively, access to minutes of meetings for which he was secretary. He wanted a member to travel all the way from his home in Exmouth so that minutes could be perused. I don’t know what you would call it, but it is not the actions of a public figure that I would condone. My literary relationships with several MP’s include Tony Benn, Paddy Ashdown and several local councillors. It is only Blackpool’s Conservatives who fail the manners test as it is only recently that they have discovered the power of electronic communication.

If Blackpool RMA members were denied access to Minutes because Mr Bell would not publish them on Email, what trust can an electorate make of his assertions that his political party will be more forthcoming with them, the electorate?

I have and will publish in full the letter from this member requesting access to the minutes and the reply that made it impossible for any ordinary member to scrutinise what was really happening within that organisation. It smacks of Westminster even before, God forbid, he ever gets there.

Senate Approves Tight Regulation Over Cigarettes

WASHINGTON — More than four decades after the surgeon general declared smoking a health hazard, the Senate on Thursday cleared the final hurdle to empowering federal officials to regulate cigarettes and other forms of tobacco for the first time.

The legislation, which the White House said President Obama would sign as soon as it reached his desk, will enable the Food and Drug Administration to impose potentially strict new controls on the making and marketing of products that eventually kill half their regular users. The House, which passed a similar bill in April, may vote on the Senate version as soon as Friday.

Balfour Beatty agrees to pay

£2.25m over allegations of

bribery in Egypt

In a ground-breaking deal, the British construction company Balfour Beatty agreed yesterday to pay £2.25m to settle bribery allegations over a £100m overseas contract. The company helped build the re-created Alexandria Library in Egypt in 2001, a prestigious Unesco project.

The Serious Fraud Office, which has been investigating the firm for the past three years, has avoided the risk of losing a criminal trial but the exact allegations have been hushed up as a result. The SFO said yesterday: "By proceeding in this way, the SFO has been able to impose a significant sanction on a major UK company whilst avoiding the extensive cost to the public purse of lengthy court proceedings."

This is the company that owns the Airport at Blackpool and the one that Blackpool Council is falling over to accommodate.

Email of the day

This is unbelievable, but can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600 employees and has the following employee statistics:

29 have been accused of spouse abuse
7 have been arrested for fraud
9 have been accused of writing bad cheque's
17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year

And collectively, this year alone, they have cost the British tax payer £92,993,748 in expenses!!!
Which organization is this you ask?
It's the
635 Members of Parliament that sit in the House of Commons, the same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.
What a bunch of bastards we have running our country - it says it all. And just to top all that they probably have the best 'corporate' pension scheme in the country!!

If you agree that this is an appalling state of affairs, please pass it on to everyone you know.

Politicians shame the nation.

At 1230 today, the much discredited Prime Minister stood up and many of his party immediately retired to their subsidised lunches and cheap drinks. Almost immediately the PM started to dictate to Parliament what he wanted, and his answers to others comments showed that irrespective of what spin he managed on Monday night, he definitely does not know how to listen.

I have great experience of this, especially in the past decade with a Member of Parliament with whom I have no parallels of thought, lifestyle, aspiration or desires. For almost all my life I have wanted and still insist that I have a representative who will uphold his mandate with me, and hopefully you, to hold the executive to account. Gordon Marsden has never once voted against a wholly corrupt and reprehensible government. How can this be right when this government has forced through some of the most hideously inept legislation – a law making process that has been calmed only by the geriatrics in the Lords?

Labour wants to bring the age of voting down to 16. They already rely greatly on the immigrant vote and now want the immature and illogical to dictate legislation from the crib. It is bad enough that citizenship is almost freely given to anyone who can hide from the police after illegally entering this country for several years, but now the once powerful force of British righteousness is being forced to mean that your voice is less heard than the immigrant children who committed mass murder recently in London. And if the PC Brigade would have us believe, in our name.

Whilst the fiddlers in Corruptminster pontificate on how to diddle more off the taxpayer, simple means to expedite are being ignored for political expedience. The instant the electorate have disquiet with their suspect Member, and I don’t mean a penis that doesn’t work, if they can raise 5% signatures in their constituency they ought to be able to challenge their MP to stand against a challenger. Also, if the MP decides he/she is not happy with their masters and changes whip, again not a joke, they ought to be made to put their decision to their electorate. And if an MP is sent down for more than a couple of weeks, the electorate again should be allowed to challenge them through the ballot box.

All this was so predictable 8 years ago when Labour tried to destroy their own policeman – just a play on words – Elizabeth Filkin with their hideous and libellous attack on her private life. Her nemesis in chief was Keith Vaz who now sits as head of one of the major and most ineffectual offices of Parliament, and Labour think he’s a good man. Your mental corruption and single mindedness is astoundingly grotesque. Have the courage to demand standards higher than the gutter where the likes of Mandelson and his cohorts dwell.

Have courage, Members of Parliament. Stop paying Sinn Fein boodles of our dosh for trying to destroy our nation. If they cannot attend then they cannot draw their no blood money. If you cannot sit through the summer recess to solve what is a simple domestic problem, resign en mass and let the electorate decide for you, or are you so terrified of that whip man?

Mr Brown, who "flipped" the designation of his second home before moving into Downing Street, submitted an estimated electricity bill for his home in Fife which partly covered a period when his London flat was his designated second home.

He also claimed for council tax and service charge bills for his London flat which included periods when his second home was in Scotland.

In total, Mr Brown appeared to make claims totalling £512 for the "wrong" properties.

Luton betrays the lies.

Luton has proved that multi-culturalism is a bad dream. For a real Brit it is the reality, the nightmare of corrupt capitalism and ineffectual socialism. Had the capitalist invested in their own population there is and would have been no need for mass immigration.
All the politician has to do is trawl through the sewers of the slum estates and force the illiterate, the lazy and the immoral into what was always called the prodestant work ethic.
Have the courage and outshout the defunct socialist and corrupt capitalist and evolve a common sense approach to the problems of this country, and never rely on immigration as the magic wand, that will only turn out to be the whip of future slavery.
Twelve years ago I warned my MP that there were cells emerging in this country that wanted to take over the nation and impose an alien regime. All you had to do was walk through the centre of Blackburn and through some of the estates, some extremely affluent, to see the colonising of parts of traditional Lancashire. I was ignored then and will be ignored until the British Regiments are forced onto the streets to defend the few pockets of England still surviving. If you doubt this, look beyond the hype in Ulster and see the mass emigration of the Prodestant population.

Spanish Royalty leads the way, Can Blackpool councillors follow

Queen Sofia Flies Ryanair

The 70-year-old monarch flew from Santander, Spain to Stansted airport with budget airline Ryanair on Sunday (31.05.09).

An insider said it was 'common practice' for members of the royal family to fly on commercial flights, adding: "King Juan Carlos is the only member of the royal family who always travels on military flights.

"Whenever possible the royals use Spanish airlines, but in this case Ryanair was the best option for getting from Santander to London. It may well be first time the royals have used Ryanair."

Sofia came to the UK to visit her brother, the former King Constantine of Greece, who is recovering from heart surgery in a London hospital.
