Lytham St Annes stupid cycle lanes

Lytham St Annes tax payers have paid out a fortune on road signs and paint. What has this Council produced? In reality a traffic system which is deadly, costly and totally illogical.

Ignoring the proven experiments in Holland, this council has ploughed a furrow of stupidity which can only be described as monumental.

Granted they have experience of being sued for other peoples own stupid actions –I.E. walkers ignoring the flags on the beach whilst sand yachters practice their sport legally in designated areas, hence no more sand yachts on the beach - but this really does take the cakes. You cannot compensate for other peoples’ stupidity by doing daft things yourself.

This picture shows two cyclists having to pull into fast moving traffic because the ‘advised’ cycle lane was occupied. The permitted speed here is 40 MPH and is a regular hot-spot for speeding cars. Cyclists, because of the dangers, more often than not use the pavement which puts pedestrians at risk (Notareargunner reviewed the case of the 17 year old girl pedestrian, killed in a collision with a fast moving cyclist).

For the major stretch of the ‘cycle lane’, from Town Centre to the traffic lights at Highbury Road, the home owners have carte blanche say over the public highway.

I was told by a Council Official that parking restriction could not be enforced because the rich council tax payer would be in uproar. I have news for these rich council tax payers, for the Council and for everyone; they do not own the highways outside their overpriced sandcastles. The roads belong to everyone and are not the private domain of the rich and privileged, nor is the excuse that it will deter holidaymakers reasonable as shown above.
Either get rid of the cycle lane, or make parking illegal.

Is this Councillor teaching a new generation of terrorist?

Councillor Hanif's 17-year-old daughter, Noor, told the Evening Times how she and her siblings were taken in a blacked-out van to a training base by the millionaire councillor for Govanhill who has campaigned against crime in the community. A chilling video, seen by the Evening Times, shows Mr Hanif shooting the powerful weapon, which is capable of firing 600 rounds a minute. Noor, a grade A student hoping to study medicine at Cambridge, said the gun trip took place during a family holiday to Pakistan to visit relatives.

This is a prime example of British national law being a farce, and immigration policies laughable.
There is no rational at all as to why any Brit should legitimately want to go into terrorist territory unless working for and on behalf of MI5.
Slum landlords are a past, current and future danger to the British poor and ill-educated. There is one factor that everyone ignores, except those involved in illegal acts, that is it is almost impossible to be a legitimate entrepreneur in Britain because the tax man will not legally allow you to get rich. What this situation does is make it impossible for the very decent immigrant to be assimilated into Britain - I do not mention culture because Nu Lieber has destroyed that. Immigration activists can find accommodation for these thieves and rogues, but not for the Gurkha or the South African serving with the British Army in Afghanistan.
As planes are loosing passengers because of expense, put families like this on long haul flights back to their training grounds, on a permanent basis.
I strongly object to paying for education for every foreigner who comes to this country. Am I wrong, but was it not a British trained doctor who attacked Glasgow Airport?

Hypocracy of America and British politicians

Another shining example of America's hypocrisy. The free Press of America has apparently conspired to give this hypocrite an easy time. Only one newspaper has been publishing the antics of Randy Tedwards for the past year or so, but the news giants have left him alone.
Question. If you love your wife so much, how do you risk her life by having sexual activity with another woman? What does he say to his sperm bank? You can have sex and I will pay you for it, if you can guarantee that you do not have Aides, gonorrhoea, syphilis, chlamydiae or herpes, so I can't take tham back to my critically ill wife. It must be the same remarks the Boris Johnson says to his wife and children, "your mum is a good woman, but the mistress/slapper is a better shag!!!"

Bus concessions in Lancashire

But high demand from the county's over 60s has caused concern in Red Rose town halls, and some politicians now worry whether their authorities can actually afford to subsidise free travel. Bus companies report increased passenger numbers and there has been a boost in the number of visitors to tourist areas like Lytham, Morecambe and Lancaster, now more accessible for older people. Preston was allocated £590,000 to fund concessionary fares in the city, but senior figures at the town hall claim the total needed could be nearer to £4m.

If the pensioners and disabled had not received their bus passes, those very same busses, which are now full, would be damaging the roads of Lancashire EMPTY.
Stop frightening the old and disabled. If you are getting ready to withdraw this concessionary package, at least have the courage to say so. There were no extra busses commissioned when the concessionary fares were introduced, so why all the haggle now?
Just because the average politician cannot do simple accounts, do not think that the average OAP or disabled person is so inflicted. We all know you rely on the inertia of the electorate, but many passengers on the busses are being forewarned of your duplicity. You used legalese to silence the revolt growing over he abandonment of the L1 service in Blackpool. You will get more than a whimpering reaction if you do not tell the truth about the realities of life with and without bus services.
From the expense claims submitted to Councils by Councillors, it must be gleamed that no councillor uses a bus? Don't give them expenses, make them use the bus and the services may just improve.

BBC interview with Geert Wilders MP- Nederlande

Very rarely nowadays does a radio interview provoke intense thought. Geert Wilders, rightly or wrongly, has chosen a course of action which offends the Muslim minority in his homeland, and the pinkie liberal effete who would rather betray every aspect of their heritage, to an ideology which promotes the amputation of limbs for petty theft and the discriminatory stoning of women for adultery. If that was enforced in the UK I know of several neighbourhoods that would rapidly be depleted of females whilst the obliging males would have to find other means of sexual gratification. Put this recording of the BBC 4 Choice programme on audio, listen whilst you knit a Union Flag for the troops in Afghanistan, and Iraq, and the Balkans, and in Northern Ireland - Ulster to many of us old farts, and for those taking drugs whilst the government orders those who do not to turn a blind eye.

Dawkins views

I, unlike the majority of ordinary people ,have read much of Professor Dawkins thought provoking thesis. With rare clarity, I can also understand why the religious masses shiver at his observations. What Dawkins has made me do is stop looking for answers in the mythical heavens, but within the hearts and aspirations of Man. The true question is surely what is GOOD and what is EVIL?
Good is easy to define; the music of Mozart, the words of Shakespeare and Goethe, the actions of the Red Cross and its’ workers. Evil is that which brainwashes children into beliefs that have no substance, blind obedience to mystical books written by genius writers over two millennia ago, and not allowing children to grow with the human instinct of inquisition. I have no doubt that if we do not challenge the evil amongst us, humanity will fail.

Realities of Conflict

When the spectre of suicide bombers re-emerged, I remember the cacophony of disbelief that such a weapon could be used let alone defeated. In a letter to Gordon Marsden MP Blackpool, I informed him that the niceties of war have to be suspended as the prevalent 'duty of care' has to be ones own soldiers. He would not engage someone who had fought on three continents and had some experience of similar situations.
You never let anyone within blast distance of a section. If he has to be shot for not getting down on the ground, so-be-it. And the army should be deploying dogs, no matter how it upsets the Pathan. A well trained sniffer dog will save lives. Once the dog starts to react the handler can immediately call 'bomber' and the troops disperse. Sometimes the dog-handler will misread the situation, but it is not his fault.
Blame the politicians who did not think this situation through. A thousand years of confronting different invaders and Blair and Bush expected the Pathan to welcome them with open arms? Arms, yes. Arms weighed down with dynamite and the Kalashnikov.
