Accessing BLACKPOOL accounts

For all Sandgrown'ns everywhere, interested in the accounts of the lovely family resort, read here

Not only do you have a right to read, you have a duty to read. It is your town and your money

  1. Apart from it not being my town, as my past life involves accounts, I am only too well aware of two points:-
    1. The average person does not know how to look at the accounts and understand the bland figues such reports give - it is the same when annual accounts are given to members of any form of club.
    2. Creative accountancy is live and well, and even I could produce spreadsheets which could tell a different story to the official one.

  2. But it gives an avenue for Mr & Mrs Average to be able to ask their representatives pertinent questions.
When the reply comes back false there is the opportunity to do a Dandelion and Murdoch.

Politicians never reply to you and I because we only ask more questions.

I.E. Question: Do you have to be a Turd Burglar to get into Politics?

    Reply: It helps.

  3. Not only do we ask more questions, we ask the ones they don't want to answer. Mr & Mrs Average may ask a question but they need to know of the follow up system as we both know, all politicians can give a glib answer making it sound factual. One of those glib answers stated that the MOD had supplied the relevant years for the plaques under the trees at Stanley Park. The reality was they were taken from the 'britain's small wars web-site' and cost a certain committee over £500 to put right. I know, I was that soldier!!

  4. On Council assets-one bus station
    -one gypsy site.
Where the hell is the bus station?
How is a gypsy site an ASSET?
Perhaps its in the quantity of lead and other purloined metals?

  5. Gypsies, travellers, male whores and councillors. They all want the lead off our church with the exception of councillors who add 50% for the privilege of stealing it.
