Saudi national being lauded and rewarded for possably being a terrorist?

The British Bullshit Corporation is 100% behind the importation of a possible terrorist into these islands already overcrowded with Jihadis British.   Given VIP treatment, we are also told VIP medical attention, he is being offered £ms in compensation because it is alleged he may have been interviewed by British Security Officers when in a prison camp in Afghanistan? This is what the foreigner, Shaker Aamer, last British resident held at Guantanamo Bay, married to an immigrant with a British Passport, is anticipated to receive whilst Sgt Alexander Blackman 42 Commando Royal Marines languishes in a British prison for doing OUR DUTY.

According to whomever one wants to believe, Shaker Aamer, a highly educated Welfare Worker, voluntarily employed to dig water wells in a part of the World where labour can be bought for pennies, was subject to a vendetta by Afghan Nationals who sold him to US army sources for +/- $5k. That means if I report the expected/suspected 4000 known Jihadis to be resident in the UK, I could expect a remuneration of over $20m. Now that looks like a sound business enterprise...

Having spent many years in a US prison, designed to house combatants who do NOT fall under the Geneva Convention, horrendous sadists who use every means to disguise they identities as they commit the most heinous of atrocities, we are now expected to believe that the millions of taxpayers pound sterling can legally be wasted on appeasing a foreigner who just happens to be married to the child of an immigrant. I cannot ever remember being asked if it was viable or even reasonable to open the floodgates for people from any part of the Universe that Wilson's Labour deemed could/would vote to keep Labour in POWER(?sic) for the foreseeable future?

Let us face facts. The hijackers in the September 11 attacks were 19 men affiliated with al-Qaeda. 15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia.[1]. A quick perusal on the Internet gives the pictures of the 7/7terrorists and their victims. The media and Government calls them British Muslims. Strange how foreigners can be designated British just because they were born here, yet true British people as Professor John Tulloch have to go cap in hand to a Politically Correct part of the Establishment just to maintain his rightfully divine legacy of home country residence. And finally, the terrorist who tried to attack Glasgow Airport were two practitioners in privileged occupations and lauded professions. I leave the last words with the Great Comic Billy Connelly.

If you don't appreciate the language, don't watch. Thanks Billy for making me laugh even though you touched on the very topic that Politicians will not allow us to approach.

Blackpool Council Leader writes

This is written on the Internet and as a public document has been replied to. @JeSuisCharlie

As I write this, the issue uppermost in most people’s minds is the global refugee crisis.
Both the UK and Blackpool have a long, proud tradition of helping those most in need – Blackpool having welcomed Polish migrants in the 1940s, Hungarians in the 1950s, and Kosovans in the 1990s.

This is the latest opening epistle from Simon Blackburn, Leader of Blackpool Council.  It is very telling and ultra informative.  But what I would like to know about this statement is, Simon, how do you know?  What piece of fiction have you been reading?  Like that picture your Party uses of VE Day celebration in 'Th'Old City'; sorry your not from Blackpool so you won't know it is what residents once called Queenstown, Layton:it can be interpreted any way one likes.

The current focus is on people in Calais, and people fleeing Syria.  But the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees states that at the end of 2014, there were almost 20 million people, or an average of 42,500 people per day forced to leave their homes and seek protection elsewhere.

By Jasus, Mr Blackburn! You certainly write a load of bollocks, but then he was the last Labour Chancellor who just so happened to have bankrupted the UK.  My listening to the concerns of people on Blackpool streets are, high rates, unemployment, especially since Joan Humble then Labour MP for Blackpool North, welcomed the 15000 Polish workers into town at the expense of the annual influx of native Scottish/Irish/Welsh seasonal workers; but there again its a subject Labour chooses to ignore. Oh! Yes.  We British do know something about living in war torn countries and facing extinction.  If your family did not, most of ours stayed and fought for the future of THEIR children.  They were rewarded by being forced back down mines and back into the Armed Forces, away from the privileged jobs, free education and a health service paid for by them but given by you to anyone who just so happened to WANT it from abroad!

I have also spoken with colleagues at the council, constituents, friends and others, as well as keeping one eye on how the media is reporting the crisis.  As in any situation, opinions vary – but generally speaking people are overwhelmingly positive about the idea of us helping out in any way we can.

This is most distasteful, misleading and obviously false declaration imaginable.  The majority of indigenous people are terrified because Politicians have invented HATE CRIMES to stifle open and free debate.  If you have not read it, perhaps you should ask the Council to provide, at the rate payers expense, a copy of the latest security reports.  That says, we, the Country as a whole, is at its most tenuous risk of IS attacks of all times.  Again, if you were in Tenerife or some other warm, foreign seaside resort, at those times it is excusable, whereas the rest of us endured 7/7, the Glasgow Airport attacks, the murder on the street of Fusilier Lee Rigby, and the warning that 3200 attacks had been foiled by the Security Services?  That's not to remind you of the lamentable conduct of Labour Councils and other Party activist who have somewhat let down the children of Blackpool - the failed Child Welfare Report - Rochdale, Rotherham et cetera, just to name a few.

And just to add petrol to the flames, Simon Blackburn writes:-
I have noted that at our meetings of the Lancashire Leaders (the specifics of which must, of course, remain private) party politics are rarely a factor when we discuss devolution, or the potential formation of a Combined Authority.  Did not the last Government Executive promulgate laws that permitted the recording and publication of ALL Meetings for Local Governance, the use of recording electronics and video for assistance with the dissemination of information and participation?  Or are those Rules/Laws only for a selected few?

Government response to Sgt Blackman public appeal

The Government has responded to the petition you signed – “Free Sergeant Alexander Blackman”.
Government responded:
The Government recognises that our Armed Forces are made up of extraordinary people doing an extraordinary job, often in extremely difficult and dangerous circumstances.
We are proud of the work they do and the way they conduct themselves on operations, often under unimaginable pressures, but we rightly expect that, even when faced with great provocation, they uphold the disciplinary and ethical standards which have long marked the conduct of our Armed Forces and have so often distinguished them from those they have to fight. No Serviceman or woman can or should be above the law”.
That law does not prevent the killing of enemies in battle. But the law does not permit the killing of wounded and disarmed enemies after the fighting is over. Sergeant Blackman was accused and convicted of killing an unknown enemy insurgent who had been badly wounded and disarmed.
Sergeant Blackman and two Marines under his command were tried by the Court Martial. The Court Martial process is both independent and impartial. The verdict was reached by a panel of Royal Marine and Royal Navy officers and a warrant officer. Unlike a civilian jury, they had an awareness of what service life demands which they could take into account.
Sergeant Blackman’s defence was that he had shot the member of the Taliban after he was dead. His defence was rejected and he was found guilty of murder. The Court Martial acquitted the two Marines who had been charged with him.
The panel, together with the civilian Judge Advocate, assessed the sentence he must serve and decided on a minimum period of 10 years in prison. In doing so they had available psychiatric evidence as to Sergeant Blackman’s state of mind and as to the pressures he was under.
Sergeant Blackman exercised his right to appeal to the Court Martial Appeal Court against both his conviction and his sentence. That Court is made up of the same judges who sit in the civilian Court of Appeal. They upheld the conviction but reduced the period of imprisonment to eight years, giving greater weight to the evidence of combat stress.
The Government recognises that it remains difficult for some to accept the decision of the Court Martial and the Court Martial Appeal Court. But we believe that the law as it stands, and has long stood to the credit of our Armed Forces, should not be changed. As to the process by which that law is applied, it seeks to combine independence and legal professionalism with an appreciation of the military context and the realities of military life. The civilian Judge Advocate gives direction on the law, and military personnel decide on guilt or innocence. Where there is a conviction, they decide with the Judge Advocate on the sentence. An appeal can be made to the highest and most experienced judges, and there is the possibility of further review if important new evidence emerges. This is, rightly, an independent judicial process, not a political decision. The Government believes that the essential elements of this system are fair and sound.

It is a matter of public record that Sergeant Blackman is currently considering with his legal team the possibility of referring his case to the Criminal Cases Review Commission. The Government is clear that it must not stand in the way of a fair and just consideration of this case. On 16 September 2015, the Minister for Defence Personnel and Veterans spoke on behalf of the Government in a Westminster Hall Debate on this case and expressed the Government’s commitment to co-operate fully with both Sergeant Blackman’s legal team and the Commission.

Accordingly the full internal report of the Naval Services into the matter has been made available to Sergeant Blackman’s legal advisers, in confidence.
If Sergeant Blackman decides to refer his case to the Commission, it is for the Commission to decide whether there is new evidence or a new legal argument which should be put to the Court Martial Appeal Court to appeal his conviction. If Sergeant Blackman’s case is then referred to the Court Martial Appeal Court for further consideration, the Government has every confidence in its ability to ensure that justice is done.

Victoria Falls as it is today

"On 3 October 2014 the BBC reported that “The Kariba Dam is in a dangerous state. Opened in 1959, it was built on a seemingly solid bed of basalt. But, in the past 50 years, the torrents from the spillway have eroded that bedrock, carving a vast crater that has undercut the dam's foundations. … engineers are now warning that without urgent repairs, the whole dam will collapse. If that happened, a tsunami-like wall of water would rip through the Zambezi valley, reaching the Mozambique border within eight hours. The torrent would overwhelm Mozambique's Cahora Bassa Dam and knock out 40% of southern Africa's hydroelectric capacity. Along with the devastation of wildlife in the valley, the Zambezi River Authority estimates that the lives of 3.5 million people are at risk.”[21]"

Victoria Falls dries up!! What a sight to see especially if one has been here before. No rainy mist, no wall of water and no swirling waters rushing through the gorge and ‘the boiling pot’………... This used to be an absolutely spectacular sight!

Mosi-oa-Tunya, the smoke that Thunders was part of my middle life. I had the privilege of having to protect the area from insurgents for several years.  For hundreds of dawns I would watch the smoke hold high over the only "jungle" for hundreds, maybe a thousand miles.  Many an evening I would dine at the Hotel and sit quietly at my table whilst a leopard ate scraps on the lawn a few feet away.  It would then retreat into the mist and the hub of human excitement would return to the ventures of the night in the Internationally renowned Casino to which the hotel belonged.

I also remember arriving, tired and dishevelled after spending a night in dense bush 50 clicks outside of 'the Falls'. In the dash to take much needed supplies to our comrades, we had collided with two mombies whilst driving flat out in the thick blackness of the night.  Our journey had come to an abrupt end as we sat the night out being sucked dry by the mosquitoes and a myriad of other blood loving insects.  At dawn we risked life and ... by flagging down a passing convoy on the morning run into 'the Falls'.  We had no time to celebrate even though it was Christmas and the village was in full Party Spirit.  We had a job to do.

That night my comrade and I were ensconced on the only high point in the area.  Several hours into our lonely vigil the fun began.  One of us witnessed the first telling signs of mortar fire being initiated from close to Livingstone town, on the banks opposite and across the raging Zambezi River, directed at 'the Falls' village and the newly built Elephant Hills Hotel.  We waited just a nano second as we both confirmed the sighting and the bearing of the flashes in the dark.  As we heard the distant thud of the mortars being fired I heard my comrade talk into his radio.  "Fire Mission, Troop..."

No-one knew we had secretly put a troop of guns in place to protect 'the Falls'.  They did a few seconds later and all the casinos and hotels emptied to watch the 'fireworks'.

Several days later we were left with a dilemma, how to get back to Salisbury.  Someone procured two air tickets for us on a scheduled flight.  There were a rules in place that said passengers were not allowed to carry weapons nor wear military uniforms on civilian flights.  Those rules were set aside for two of us that flight.

We had  been aboard only seconds after take-off when a mountain of a man came and placed two Castles in our hands.  For the next hour we were plied with beer and eventually sparkling wine.  Even the Captain came aft and shook our hands and then informed the passengers that we must prepare for landing.  To which the friendly giant offered, " Do you still have any booze on board?" to the pilot.

"Yes," came the reply.

"Well, takes us round again," he commanded.  There was a hearty cheer from the hundred or so passengers.  The Colossus was none other than the owner of the airline and every passenger and crew member was either in the Services or married to a member of the Services.  That afternoon we actually drank the aircraft dry.  But they had all experienced the horrors and beauty of modern warfare and the humbling realisation that whilst they slept peacefully in their beds at night, hard men were doing dastardly deeds to protect them.

Unless Corbyn and his ilk have their way, thus it will always be.

Blackpool spam telephone number

01253650001

This is a spam call purporting to be from a hospital. Ignore it as it is spam/scam call and could cost you a fortune.

It will call you at some unsociable hour and, according to others, is untraceable.  It says it is a hospital telephone?

The mantra "Islam is a religion of peace". Right or Wrong...?

With every leading politician falling over themselves to make me accept multiculturalism, can one get an explanation for this email?

To all the Muslims who are intoning the mantra "Islam is a religion of peace". Please do clear this up for us non Muslims...because we find it a bit confusing. Here are some 20 Suras from the Koran:

Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them (2:191)

Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood (9:123)

When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them (9:5)

Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax (9:29)

Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable (3:85)

The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them (9:30)

Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam. (5:33)

The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque (9:28)

Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies (22:19)

Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them (47:4)

The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them (8:65)

Muslims must not take the infidels as friends (3:28)

Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur'an (8:12)

Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels (8:60)

So if “Islam is a religion of peace” then please explain the above Suras in your holy book Koran.

Blackpool FY4 Internet speed. It could be the same in your area

4G from O2 is now available in over 530 UK towns and cities. (Note: NOT IN BLACKPOOL)
The major towns and cities include: Antrim, Bradford, Birmingham,Bournemouth, Bridgend, Brighton, Burnley, Castleford, Coleraine, Coventry, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Leigh, Liverpool, Livingston, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, London, Macclesfield, Newtownabbey, Nottingham, Nuneaton, Pontypool, Poole, Portsmouth, Reading, St Albans, Sittingbourne, Southampton and Tamworth.

Having spent hours trying to find hotspots, G4 access or even Fibre optics for FY4, I return to find that although I cannot access any of these conduit suppliers, the companies still bombard me with advertising for services I cannot receive.  That is deceitful, illegal and immoral.

I cannot get fibre as I cannot have Virgin into my home.  Virgin is the only provider that promises 38Mb  speed, but as I cannot get Virgin then the advertising is superfluous.

The same goes with BT and TalkTalk.  Note carefully that the add states UP TO 17Mb.  That means it can legitimately provide you with smoke signal speeds which nowhere nears the speed it purports to offer, but as the adds don't say it will provide you with fast connection...?  They do not have to provide you with fast connection as Blackpool is still not a fibre connection locality. Therefore the Internet Service Providers cannot provide businesses or individuals with the modern communication it says we have.  And this lie is pertetrated by Councils which covers their own backsides and cares not a jot about the small entrepreneur or moderate business that supply the income for the community to survive.

What is annoying to some who are knowledgeable in such matters, the ADSL, now ancient technology, is still being offered as BROADBAND.

This site allows all users to test the veracity of those TeleSales operatives who pierce our ears on a daily basis.  Do not be suckered into taking a contract which the operators cannot provide.  If you say to the person on the phone, "I have the internet open at the Speedcheck and it says I can only get 5Mb yet you are offering UP TO 17Mb, are you offering MAGIC or true science?"
