The Central Promenade in all its glory

  1. What you must always remember when discussing any form of public works funded by the taxpayers, throughout the whole country, including the debacle of the tram works, is that the main people involved in design, costing, planning, and overall management have all got a DEGREE???? Isn't education wonderful???

  2. Agreed, but a lie is only a lie when the person telling them actually understands that is what they are doing, which none of them will ever admit to. In their warped way, they think they are only manipulating the english language by being economical with the truth.

  4. Nothing changes, that has been the case for the time during the tram works. Also, a couple of years ago on the Sunday of Veterans Week, the number of people from the Norbreck down that did not get into the town was phenominal. A councillor and a member of staff blamed this on the need to close the road for the Service and Parade, nothing to do with the shortage of transport to bus all these visitors into the town?? True fact, I heard the conversation??

  5. There is no proper kerb on the town side of this planning nightmare.
Is this so that none of the down and outs and drug addicts can't lay down in the gutter?

  6. No down and outs in Blackpool. Just bent MPs, councillors and Wendy Lewis's clientèle.
