Targeted strike that killed four soldiers and journalist indicates how hard it will be to secure Kandahar city and build trust with Afghans


It was a targeted attack, a massive bomb detonated via remote control, that tore up the road just 10 kilometres away from Kandahar Air Field and killed four Canadians soldiers and a journalist in one of the deadliest attacks on Canadian troops since the country's Afghan mission began.

When all the Moaning Minnies finish whining on about we Brits fighting the Push toons all on our own, perhaps a glimpse at my sisters' kids doing their bit.

The Canadians have pledged to withdraw by 2011. Thank you, again, Canada and may your Gods keep a close eye on you and protect you.
