
A Government crackdown on using official cars appeared to be breaking down last night after a two ministers were caught taking unnecessary limo trips.
Andrew Robathan, the new Veterans Minister, came under fire after he used an official car – complete with driver and MoD official – to attend the 70th anniversary ceremony for Dunkirk.
Meanwhile Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman was pictured being ferried 500 yards from her £3 million London townhouse to her Westminster HQ.
