Support the Royal Marine 7

http://www.facebook.com/theroyalmarine7

Those of us who have actually been in combat cannot do more than support the lads on the Frontline in Blair's campaign of Folly.
Whilst HE earns a fortune around the World peddling his lies and dodgy dossiers, more and more of our youth die.  Not a single one of those who sent the troops in have even as much as a shaving rash.

Now charge Blair and Brown and the whole of the Government that sent the troops into Afghanistan with Crimes.

Second former Bootneck supporting "The Troops"

Former Royal Marine showing his support in London for the Marines charged for crimes in Blairs war in Afghanistan

The inevitable has happened and some are appalled.  Some former soldiers are more angry at Blair and his cohorts perpetuating the lies as the death tally rises to 430 plus.

Former 42 Commando/41 Commando Marine Steve Flanigan
On a day when two more Britons selflessly gave their all, with special thoughts to our oft forgotten kin in Ulster, this message has to be passed on to Westminster.  If they charge the Bootnecks with murder, then Blair and Brown and company have to be charge with crimes against humanity.

When the Taliban publishes their "Rules of Engagement", the legal people can do their worst with the troops left in Afghanistan.  Until then, let the troops fight the way they know how.

UK FORCES SUPPORT
CHRISTMAS PARCEL APPEAL 2012

Well its that time of year again and we need your help!!
UK Forces Support have now officially launched our 2012 Christmas Parcel Appeal.  Christmas Should be a happy time where families come together,  but for many of our troops serving overseas and away from loved ones, it can be quite lonely.  For them to receive a parcel from home can make all the difference, if only for them to know that somewhere, someone is thinking of them.

We will try to reach as many of our troops as possible by sending them a Christmas parcel. We can only do this with your help.  If you would like to donate to our 2012 parcel appeal, please go to our Area Representative page and see if you have one of our reps close to you.  If we don't have anyone close to your area and you would still like to help, you could make a cash donation and we will purchase items and make a parcel up on your behalf.  If you would like us to include a letter in your parcel you can either email of forward one to Head Office.

Below is a list of selected parcel items and items that are prohibited.  We work very closely with BFPO to ensure that we don't overwhelm the system thus blocking personal family mail getting through at a time when  it is most needed.

If you would like more information on our 2012 Christmas Parcel Appeal or you have a loved one serving away on operations this Christmas and would like them to receive a parcel from us, please contact our head office and speak with Mel Mullen.

We are also appealing for corporate help or sponsorship.  If you are a business and would like to support UK Forces Support and our troops, please contact

Brussels bubbly for Italy's mafia and other EU waste - The Commentator

I went to do my Large Shop at Lidl, yesterday. Prices have gone up 100% on many products as shopping for a single pensioner has become impossible.  Just about every advert is promoting gluttony and over indulgence.  There is no buying for one unless one goes to Abingdon Street market.  Even a walk through the veggie section at Morrison's exemplifies the differences between society.  If you  say the political parties are looking after pensioner interests, well, they are definitely not.  Labour has not since conception and Cameroonie only looks after his school chums and the barclays bankers.

It all begins with the local councils, up to Fat Rats in Westminster and the Fat Pigs we send - at enormous expense- to get fatter in Brussels.

What we dare not write about in Britain

The way things are ... in Africa

Author:
Pashu Shuudi
Pashu Shuudi writes:
ALTHOUGH hard to swallow, us black people despise everything that looks like us. To prove my point, not so long ago fellow blacks who run away from atrocities in their African countries were beaten, burned and some even killed by fellow blacks in South Africa. In Namibia, black supporters of the ruling party SWAPO and the opposition parties clashed in 2009 and we are still hearing of such quarrels or violence just in the name of politics.
Through history, I have come to learn that we actually disliked one another before colonialism, hence fierce tribal fights during those years. Colonialism united us all in the fight against a common enemy. After colonialism, we saw the rebirth of what we thought was buried long time ago, tribalism, regionalism, favouritism, etc. Although we do not like others from other tribes, we all love things that we do not produce. We love fine branded clothes, (Polo, Paris Hilton, Luis Vuiton, Nike, Adidas, Lacoste, Timberland) from Europe, we love American and German-made cars, we love expensive wine, we like Jameson whisky, Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker, Red Label, Bell’s, Scottish brandy, the beer. Yet no African person brews any of them.
All we own, unfortunately, are thousands of shebeens where we drink ourselves to death, stab each other with knives/bottles, infect each other with the HIV virus, make lots of unwanted babies and then blame others for our miseries. We love all sorts of expensive foreign made items and show them off. Yet we look down at our indigenous products that we fail to commercialise.
As blacks, we know very little about investments, whether in stocks, or in properties. All we know is how to invest our money in things that depreciates or evaporate the fastest - like clothes, cars, alcohol, and when we are at it, we want the whole world to see us. I know some brothers driving BMWs, yet they sleep on the floors, no beds because nobody will see them anyway. This is what we love doing and this is the black life, a life of showing off for those who have. A black millionaire ‘tenderpreneur’ living in Ludwig’s Dorf, Kleine Kuppe, Olympias, in Windhoek will drive to the notorious Eveline Street in Katutura for a beer where he will show off his expensive car and look down on others. We sell our natural resources to Europe for processing, and then buy them back in finished products.
What makes us so inferior in our thinking that we only pride ourselves when we have something made by others?
What compels us to show off things that we don’t manufacture?
Is it the poverty that we allow ourselves to be in? Is it our navigated consciousness, our culture or just a low self-esteem possessing us?
For how long are we going to be consumers or users of things we do not produce?
Do we like the easy way out, such that we only use and consume things made by others?
Do designer clothes, expensive wine or changing our names to sound more European make us more confident in ourselves?
Our leaders scream at us how bad the Europeans are, yet they steal our public money and hide it in European banks. We know how Europeans ransacked Africa but we are scandalously quiet when our own leaders loot our countries and run with briefcases under their arms full of our riches to Europe.
The Europeans took our riches to Europe but our African leaders are again taking our riches to Europe. Mubarak of Egypt, Gadaffi of Libya, Mobutu Sese Seko of the then Zaire, all had their assets allegedly frozen in Europe. Why do our African leaders who claim to love us run to invest ‘their’ money in Europe?
Again, when they get sick they are quick to be flown to Europe for treatment yet our relatives die in hospital queues. Don’t our leaders trust the health systems they have created for us all? Why are we so subservient, so obedient to corruption when committed by our very own people?
Nobody can disagree with me in this country that we are like pets trained to obey the instructions of their masters. I am sure we look down when we think of our broken lives, but what do we see when our thoughts are down? I wonder if we realise how we sell our dreams to our leaders for corruption, miseries, poverty, unemployment, underdevelopment and all other social evils affecting us.
How long are we going to let our manipulated minds mislead us, from womb to tomb?

Blackpool Council dealing with adversity

The Dead Horse Theory

The tribal wisdom of the Plains Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that

"When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount."

However, in government more advanced strategies are often employed, such as:

1. Buying a stronger whip

2. Changing riders

3. Appointing a committee to study the horse

4. Arranging to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses

5. Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included

6. Reclassifying the dead horse as living-impaired

7. Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse

8. Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed

9. Providing additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horse's performance

10. Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horse's performance

11. Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horse
s

12. Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses

And, of course...

13. Promoting the dead horse to a more senior position.

Jury told heroes’ cash plundered

Jury told heroes’ cash plundered - Crime - Blackpool Gazette

There are big thieves and there are small thieves.  The small thieves we all recognise and I will be specific, those who make gain fiscal advantage purporting to belong to an organisation, in these cases Regiment or Corps, but who will not or do not have the courage to admit they do not.  By parading themselves as members they gain an illegal and immoral monetary advantage from a general population that does not know better.  One of the major reasons the majority now live in ignorance is that the school system is now so PC that OUR history is no longer able to be taught.

I will cite a perfect example.  Only this last weekend ought to have been the celebration of the most famous sea battle in Britain's history, Trafalgar.  Did Blackpool celebrate that occasion?  No.

What has Blackpool got to do with Trafalgar?  Had they taught history in Blackpool's school the generations would know that one of the most important ships of that period, a veteran of this era, lies at rest a few yards north of North Pier, HMS Fordroyant.
For several year the Fordroyant had been Nelson's Flag Ship.  Who the h*ck is Nelson?  Wrestling fans will remember him as a hold...

The small thieves are those who exploit a situation knowing full well that what the big thieves are doing is wrong!  The classic example has to be the average Member of Parliament.  Not only did all MP's know that a high percentage of their bretheren were on the make, but they acquiesced in covering up this villainy that would have had a lass working an extra hour or two in her local Chippie branded a thief.
Having been asked not to mention any specific Local Councillors for legal reasons let me just add a proviso from a former regulars perspective.  There are numerous veterans in this town who will not seek or ask for help.  Their main reason is they feel humiliated mainly because those running established charities will insist on Mean Testing - and rightly so - to establish the needy from the greedy!  As there are now only four people in the Fylde area with the credentials to undertake such an emotionally draining task, the void is being filled with the charlatans and thieves as may well be the case above.  Here it is for a jury to decide.

But when former regular service personnel do not and will not fall in with organisations that purport to represent them, then Madam General Public should be taking a close gander at who and more importantly why?  The Paras hate these fraudsters and do not have a viable organisation although there are lots of Paras in town, and their caution is well deserved.  But Blackpool I hear is to be led by some who worshipped at the altar of idolatry and personality cultism. This is why there was to have been the inauguration locally of the Sir Jimmy Savile suite in a high street brothel.  It's bad enough that Blackpool locals want to have there own Jim "never was a hero" beatified!  But taking evidence from those who oppose this moral decline and criminal activity has been beyond the powers that be for some time now.  One has to ask why and in the light of a quarter of a century of poor police investigation into serious crimes, one wonders if the PC message has crippled all thought and action that only hastens the lowering of all debate completely to zero.

Compounding insult after insult on former servicemen and women is as bad as denying today's serving youth all the help we can muster.  Please do not let these thieves stop the wonderful generosity of Brits towards our serving kin.

Vote for your Police Commissioner - I don't thnk

Don't forget, you have the RIGHT to say F*ck Off to this rigged election.  Just write across your ballot paper, NONE OF THE ABOVE if you so wish.

If this lunacy has been dreamt up by politicians it will be corrupt mainly because they've made putting ordinary people up for the post so expensive that only the main political parties can afford it.  A bit smelly, what?

Bootnecks take over from Paras as political stooges

Five marines charged with murder after Afghanistan 'incident'

Defence Secretary Philip Hammond: "We're very determined that the rules of engagement will be followed"
Five Royal Marines have been charged with murder over an incident in Afghanistan in 2011, the MoD has said.

But not a word about Blair and Brown and the 100.000 Iraqi killed because of Blair and Bush's inflated ego's!

Strange isn't it that the British police failed British children for over 40 years with pervert and friend of the establishment, Jimmy Savile.  And that it took 23 years before the Liverpool Families of the Hillsborough debacle get close to justice.  But the establishment can get theTaliban insurgent's alleged killers within hours relatively?

Just one request, can the lads have the same investigation and prosecution team that did the police for the murder of Jean Charles de Menezes?  Or the police who investigated Westminster corruption allegation?  Or the police who did not investigate the Corporate Murder of Blackpool's Andy Miller?

So I can't count.  But I can think for myself and my memory still works, with somethings.

Blackpool's latest lunacy

One has to thank Phil for another excellent expos—ź of events in Dirtpool.  I will diverge from this writer’s line of evaluation to follow one of my own, as I haven’t the foggiest notion of what he has said – I do but I want the thick to really feel at home - which will confuse the Sun readers among my two followers and will irritate to death the establishment and the cabals who infest the political corridors of this dying resort.
My first concern was the selective way this Looney left group proffered figures without any definition of numerators or denominators; no comparisons, no explanations, no calculations and certainly no costing to the tax payer of which this group will loudly proclaim they are of too belong.  From what I read they are mostly paid for by the tax payer and are therefore barred from any panel that might have to scrutinise itself.  It is within the article of the 1998 Human Rights Act- I don’t want to go over old ground – it is within that section that says a Ruling Authority has to be scrupulous impartial.  How can such a body be impartial when the internet – you get little decent journalism from the local press - tells us that the majority of discourse and complaints are about the very bodies this cabal represents?  It’s like writing to the CEO telling him that funds are being misappropriated or that a Councillor has been seen running around with charity boxes under his/her arm!  The reply!  You should go to SpivSavers…

My question over numerators and denominators may tickle anyone over a certain age or who delved into the delights of doing sums.  One of the first things educationalists will thrill you with is Mark Twain’s "Lies, damned lies, and statistics".  That may be so but mathematicians will argue that given accurate facts realistic appraisals – calculations- may be made.  For this to occur we have to distinguish fact from the political polemic of suppressio veri (suppression of the truth) for which this body already allies itself to, by which suggestio falsi (implying a falsehood) will be applied to signify accuracy of statements and rhetoric.  For example, this body may decide to release shop lifting figures to indicate how they have cut crime by 70% on Christmas day without informing you that 95% of shops were closed on that day, a very simple but a common political example of telling the truth whilst also telling a lie.

My angst is more fundamental.  Do we need this body because the Town is Corrupt as a whole, or just corrupt as a part?  If the town is corrupt as a whole then the last person on Earth you would put in charge is one who allows corruption to fester, and here I must defer to the article by Philtheone.  If the Town in corrupt in part then again the last person anyone would want is an elected Councillor who gains monetary advantage whilst this practice proliferates.  By denying the public Freedom of Information, as this council does through nefarious implementation of that Act, that elected Councillor along with the other person could both quite easily be guilt of a criminal act.  The Malfeasance in Public Office Act covers both eventualities, the police as the investigating authority and the council in light of very recent events with Hillsborough and Sir Jimmy Saville ought to be circumspect with the general public.  That which they chose to conceal today may become visible tomorrow.  As with Jimmy Saville’s grave, the retribution caused by such heinous activity could blight devious activists well past “the Last Rights”.

To this end the only body that the town needs is a decent group of councillors elected on a massive mandate to do what is right for those they are paid to serve and not for what they can make for themselves.  Council elections have to be made compulsory then the half dead cannot complain that their voices are not heard.  Not just that but any, and I mean any interference or fiddling with electoral papers should lead to long and humiliating exposure, not the muted whispers that emanated from dozens of towns throughout the Kingdom.

One Justice for one

Man gets community sentence for Facebook post about dead soldiers

Azhar Ahmed must do 240 hours of community service after writing on Facebook: 'All soldiers should die and go to hell'
Azhar Ahmed, 20, from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, admitted posting the message two days after the deaths of the soldiers in March this year but told a trial at Huddersfield magistrates court last month that he did not think it was offensive. The remarks were derogatory, disrespectful and inflammatory, the court ruled in September as a district judge found him guilty of a grossly offensive communication.

A man who wore a T-shirt with offensive comments about the murders of Pc Fiona Bone and Pc Nicola Hughes on it just hours after they died has been sentenced to eight months in prison.
Barry Thew, 39, who has a lengthy criminal record, wore a T-shirt with ‘One less pig: Perfect justice’ hand-written on it the same day the two women police officers were gunned down.

Thew, of Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, admitted a Section 4A Public Order Offence (displaying writing or other visible representation with intention of causing harassment, alarm or distress) and was sentenced at Minshull Street Crown Court today.

Worthless "covenant" in Scotland

Hero Scots Guard's pain as family are told they face 15-year wait for a council house

JASON EADIE served in the Army for 24 years and has a son suffering cerebral palsy, but has been told he faces a gruelling wait to get on the social housing ladder.
Jason Eadie with his family
Jason Eadie with his family
A FORMER Scots Guard whose young son has cerebral palsy has been told his family must wait 15 years for a council house.
Jason Eadie, who served in the Army for 24 years, was horrified after council bosses told him that his military service and his son’s plight would not help him to get on to the social housing ladder.
The Record revealed yesterday that another war hero Calum Grant and his family were also given short shrift by housing chiefs.
Both have been left to live in cramped conditions, despite the Military Covenant guaranteeing decent treatment for veterans.
Regimental quartermaster sergeant Jason left the Army in April after a gruelling tour in Afghanistan working to safeguard the infamous Route 601.
He gave up his career to help wife Naomi with the care of son Mason, three, who has cerebral palsy and is registered blind.
Jason, 40, from Bearsden, near Glasgow, who also has two daughters Tamsin, five, and Sommer, 11, said: “We were given short shrift by the council. The Military Covenant and the duty of care to armed forces veterans is something that clearly is just dusted off when politicans want votes.
“The council weren’t interested in the fact I’d just left the forces or that my wee boy has cerebral palsy. I was just told my application for social housing was refused and there was a never-ending waiting list.
“I was told it takes 15 years to get to the top of the waiting list. They asked me to give notice to quit the private rented accommodation I am in, then I can register as homeless.
“It is a disgrace. For 24 years I have paid all my taxes and served my country but, when it comes to it, you get no help at all. They say that they will help you put the family first but that’s nonsense.
“Any help that people get coming out the forces seems to be focused on single guys – there is very little assistance for families like mine. This is a national problem but councils would rather pass the buck and try to say it’s nothing to do with them.”
Jason Eadie
Jason Eadie
Campaigners estimate that as many as 5000 ex-servicemen and women are homeless or even sleeping rough in Scotland.
We revealed that fellow soldier Calum Grant, his wife Vicky and their children Macy and Jake are facing homelessness after struggling to find a council house.
The former 4 Scots soldier left his barracks in Germany and came home to Scotland to build a new life, only to find that council bureaucrats told him he faced a wait of up to nine years for a home.
West Lothian Council bosses said former soldiers were not a priority for council housing despite the introduction by the Con-Dem Government of the Military Covenant into law in November last year.
The covenant is supposed to recognise that Britain owes a “duty of care” to troops while ensuring veterans are not discriminated against in housing, education or healthcare.
Jason, who joined the Army at 16 and served with 1st Battalion, Scots Guards in Northern Ireland and the Gulf as well as Afghanistan, said: “In Scotland, councils are not interested if you are an ex-soldier.
“They can say they are pro-forces and for veterans rights but the reality is they don’t care. I left the Army because of the health situation with my wee boy and they have done nothing to help.
“I’m looking for work and we are just getting by on a low income but something has to be done. It’s about time that people realised the grim reality for people who are coming out the forces.
“We are strong but families are breaking up because they get no assistance. It is happening all across Scotland all the time but nothing is being done.”
Labour defence spokeswoman Gemma Doyle MP called for a national framework to help veterans into social housing. She said: “Local authorities have to wake up to the reality of the armed forces covenant.
“There has to be a set of guidelines which councils sign up to. This would ensure a certain standard of service for people coming out of the Armed forces.”
Homeless charity Shelter said veterans were facing a struggle to find homes. Boss Graeme Brown said: “Jason’s awful experience shows the devastating impact the chronic shortage of affordable social housing in Scotland has on people’s lives.
“The only answer for ex-services personnel like Jason who have given so much for their nation, and the 157,000 households on waiting lists across Scotland, is to drastically increase the availability of social and affordable housing.
“The Scottish Government can and must invest even more than the extra £40million committed in this year’s Scottish budget to build affordable homes.”
Douglas Young, of the British Armed Forces Federation, said: “I would have thought that in Scotland – where support for the Armed forces is so strong – things would be better.
“There are further redundancy tranches on the way for the armed forces so this will be the tip of the iceberg.”
East Dunbartonshire Council housing chief Kenny Simpson said there was a huge demand for homes in his area. He added: “We’re aware of Mr Eadie’s housing position and his family circumstances.
“We are happy to meet him to explain his legal rights in relation to his existing tenancy and discuss options.”

Twitter can hardly keep apace with the amount or volume of hits on the Jimmy Savile issue, as many as twenty every minute.

It is now time that we did away with this insidious imposed tax for the BBC licence and sold the shameful company into private ownership.  Let's start protecting the young instead of protecting their molesters.

The Soldier Sage

video
Couldn't put it better.

Jimmy Saville (false)script found on the internet -

When the Royal Marine Associations get over the shock that again they are wrong and not every Bootneck digested the personality detritus of cultism that was Jimmy Saville, there is possibly a piece of un-aired BBC programme "Have I got News for You..."that will make them greener than their berets.  Instead of reproducing it here, if it genuine or not is of another debate, it is accessible and ought to be used- if genuine - to prosecute those in the BBC and those surrounding Jimmy Saville with abetting paedophilia and child abuse.

http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/rogerb/jokes/HIGNFY.txt

If you are squeamish or a denier of facts, don't look at this link.  But if not, send it on to your MP with a simple question, where is this tape now?

I have taken just a few lines from the opening of one programme for you to decipher for ourselves.
Out-take 3:09'36
During the headline round:
DEAYTON: You used to be a wrestler didn't you?
SAVILLE: I still am.
DEAYTON: Are you?
SAVILLE: I'm feared in every girls' school in the country.
(Audience laugh)
DEAYTON: Yeah, I've heard about that.
SAVILLE: What have you heard?
DEAYTON: I've...
MERTON: Something about a cunt with a rancid, pus-filled cock.
(Read it all here)

If this really is a publicity stunt then it has backfired
because no-one will know the author. Quite strange
because it is horribly too close to reality.

A Life on the Ocean waves the rules on child abuse?

ONCE A MARINE, ALWAYS A MARINE
No joking about Sir Jimmy.  Being on the Training Staff when he allegedly did his 30 miler and remembering that he was billeted in the Sgts Mess makes sense.  No Bootneck's children in the Blue Pig for Jimmy's attention.

"Sarie Marie's in the family way,
But you can't put the blame on me.....she was over 14".  Music dedicated to the Boer, lyrics by Sir Jim "How Old!" Saville.

Sunday Sermon

After ignoring one issue for several months, Notareargunner is returning to the horrors of child exploitation and the indifference of public officials.  To begin with I advance this JOKE I received, like billions of you, through mass produced email circulation:

"My son was thrown out of school today for letting a girl in his class give him a hand-job.  I said "Son, that's 3 schools this year!  You'd better stop before you're banned from teaching altogether."

Like for so many, at first glance it was amusing.  Then I reflected on the week and my own views and publications over past years.  When British hearts are being broken over the possible murder of little Welsh girl April Jones, it cannot be possible to write or even say things that might not offend a certain section of the community.  But if details of allegations against Jimmy Saville are true then it is time that the pendulum of public sensitivity swung back to the protection of children and I will add, those most vulnerable in our society.  Anyone who has tried to confront the obsessive defencive mechanism of the establishment will know what it is like to try to Right Wrongs.  Heaven only knows what it has been like for the Hillsborough Families after all these years and their grief as those they believe to be culpable for the slurs and falsehoods directed at their loved ones walking away with golden handshakes and unearned and unwarranted pensions and other such rewards.

A recent glance at the number of convicted paedophiles going to the Courts and having their sentences reduced has a great number of parents and concerned people gasping at the legal system.  That is all I shall say on this particular point, except the indifference by public officials to what is really happening around us has got to be noticed.  To that event we cannot get too stressed at the stories abound through the media of the internet except to say that the Courts cannot be any longer used for the rich to silence facts just because public image is exposed by a small group like Guido Fawkes and others to false victims detriment.

Like so many, I sincerely hope April Jones is found safe and well, and is returned to her family and the community now in guilt at her disappearance.  If it transpires that evil has taken her as happened to the two young women in Manchester last week, then a rational response has to come and those charged with a Duty of Care have to be examined as to their performance.  It is without reservation that I return to the attitudes of public officials and media to the grooming of English children by Asian men.  Not enough prosecutions, the sentences are derisory and not a single perpetrator and his family have been returned to the Third World from whence they came.
Why not?  WE have too many British paedophiles to have to clothe, feed and house foreigners as well.

Liebers new dictionary

There are 619.000 millionaires in Britain(taken from the Red Book).
Up to   8000  will receive a cheque from the Inland Revenue to the value of  £40.000 ?  So says Ed Multibrands.

Can anyone decipher this gobbledegook from Lieber as it makes not the slightest piece of sense nor reason?  Lieber Leader Tedward, himself a millionaire according to dictionary definitions, will also be receiving a £40k bonus?

Tedward played the envy card without thinking of what he was saying.  Just like Broon with no more BOOM AND BUST.  Or the billions of pounds wasted on the Lease Lend of PFI for your grandchildren?  Yet millions will vote for these morons in the next elections?  What a catastrophe!

In the meantime, whilst the Government is palpably incompetent, Lieber still cannot accept their own fiscal failings.

Can't we learn from the US

A very interesting column. COMPLETELY NEUTRAL

Charley Reese's final column for the Orlando Sentinel.
He has been a journalist for 49 years.
He has retired and this was HIS LAST COLUMN.

This is about as clear and easy to understand as it can be. The article below is completely neutral, neither anti-republican or democrat. Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinel, has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the judgments made that impact each one of us every day. It's a short but good read. Worth the time. Worth remembering!

545 vs. 300,000,000 People
-By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House now? He is the leader of the majority party. He and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ...

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees...

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Britain, this happens here!!

If they won, it would mean that the police were guilty of perjury; that they were guilty of violence and threats; that the confessions were involuntary and improperly admitted in evidence; and that the convictions were erroneous. … That was such an appalling vista that every sensible person would say, “It cannot be right that these actions should go any further.” … ☞☞☞ …

The death of South Africa

This is an update of a previous article written by this authoritative SA journalist...
The death of South Africa — By Allister Sparks

Read this and weep...
Some interesting facts about Welkom, of which most South Africans are possibly not aware .
Strange that the situation does not seem to be reflected in mining reports and the stock market in SA - or is it ? Last Sunday's papers covered the Oppenheimer’s sale of all their family's de Beers shares for $5.2 billion to Anglo American. Nicky Oppenheimer, current chairman, says it was a tough decision.
The death of South Africa’s mines is the death of South Africa...
There are many microcosms of decay that one can use as examples of the decay of the macrocosm of South Africa.
In many respects the booming of South Africa’s mining industry and its current decay under the ANC’s Black Economic Empowerment system is a microcosm of the booming of the Republic of South Africa under Apartheid and its decay under the ANC Marxist terrorist regime.

During the first half of the 20th century, gold was discovered on several farms south of the Free State town of Odendaalsrus. After the Second World War, Sir Ernest Oppenheimer and his Anglo American Corporation, the progenitor of Anglo Gold, bought up all the prospecting rights in the area and decided to mine the richest gold find in the history of South Africa.

Prices of property in Odendaalsrus skyrocketed, so Sir Ernest Oppenheimer decided that he would build his own town for his miners, instead of paying the exorbitant prices in Odendaalsrus.

He drove 20km south and climbed a hill called Koppie-alleen (Lone Hill ) and looked down on the plains, where his mines would be and decided to build a town from scratch, called Welkom (Welcome), named after the farm where the gold was first discovered.

The people of Odendaalsrus were upset and took him to court, objecting to the new town. Ernest Oppenheimer’s lawyer was Abram (Bram) Fischer, an Afrikaner Communist and Anti-Apartheid activist who would later defend Nelson Mandela at the Rivonia trial.

Fischer was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University and travelled to the Soviet Union in 1932. He was also later awarded the Lenin Peace Prize, (1966) the Soviet equivalent of the Nobel Peace Prize. The prize was normally awarded to prominent Communists who were not Soviet citizens.

Fischer, incidentally, was married to Molly Krige, the niece of liberal Boer General Jan Smuts (later to become Prime Minister of SA). She was also a staunch Communist. Nevertheless, in 1947, the Orange Free State Provincial Council issued Oppenheimer with the birth certificate of the town of Welkom.

In his mind, Oppenheimer envisioned a beautiful garden city with broad streets. He commissioned the design of Welkom to leading town planner William Backhouse and landscape gardener Joane Prim. For Backhouse, the design of a town from scratch, was a dream come true. Space was not a problem on the Free State plains, so he designed the streets broad, with no traffic lights, only roundabouts, to keep the traffic flowing and no high-rise buildings in the new town. In the centre of town, he wanted a 'Roman Forum' with a square, where town folk could gather. It was surrounded by a horseshoe-shaped road of 75 metres wide, known affectionately by the town people as the 'Hoefie' short for the Afrikaans word 'hoefyster' meaning horseshoe.

Sports clubs, golf clubs, Olympic swimming pools, cinemas, theatres, hospitals, parks, schools, a technical college and an airport were built, all with the riches of the gold below the fertile soil. The town attracted people from all over South Africa. Money was flowing, salaries were high. By the 1970s Anglo Gold was operating six massive mines, with 22 deep level shafts, in which 122,000 people worked. The mines of Welkom were producing 35% of the gold in South Africa, which in turn was producing 75% of the world's gold.

Everyone was buying and driving a new car at least every year. They would say that when the ashtray was full, it was time to buy a new car. The 'hoefie' gave rise to the hot-rod culture of Welkom, where young men would drive around at night showing off their new Ford Cortinas with eagles painted on the engine bonnets and flames on the sides, fur on the dashboard and plastic oranges on the radio antennae! This culture also gave rise to the building of a Grand Prix racing track at Welkom. Times were good for blue-collar whites.

Even in the nearby black township of Thabong and the coloured township of Bronville, the living standards were very high.

But then the ANC took over in 1994, mostly with the help of the Oppenheimers and J.P. Morgan, who founded Anglo American Corporation in 1917. Hardly had the ANC communists taken over, than they wanted not only a slice of the pie from the mining industry, but the whole pie.
Black Economic Empowerment was introduced and mines had to give away half of their assets to black ANC members. For Anglo American Corporation, the writing was on the wall and before they could lose everything, they merged with Minorco in 1999 and moved their assets to London. In the last 10-15 years, more than 100,000 jobs have been lost in Welkom. The skip-wheels of the mines are not turning anymore and the noise of the mines, as well as the hot-rods, have fallen silent. The ziggurat-like walls of the slimes-dams next to the R73 road are the last remnants of a once-thriving mining industry. Today, the mines are in the hands of BEE companies and being plundered for scrap metal. The municipality of Matjabeng (nee Welkom) is run by the ANC. In June 2011 it came into prominence as one of the worst examples of ANC corruption and misrule. How a small town blew R2bn. on dodgy deals...

Most of the whites have left Welkom. Blacks make up 90% of the population and whites 8%. To say that the town is a shadow of its former self, is an understatement. The decay is obvious everywhere and it is fast becoming a ghost town. 1500 staff houses at the mines are standing empty. Even churches in town have closed their doors. The remaining whites in the area, mostly farmers, are struggling under stock theft and brutal farm attacks, tortures and murders .

Elsewhere it is not going any better. The Aurora mine at Grootvlei, which is owned by the Zuma and Mandela families and at one stage employed 5000 workers, now have less than 200. Aurora is now a ghost town. On the 8th of May 2011, in a Carte Blanche TV show, it was revealed that Cosatu (Council of SA Trade Unions) calls the owners of Aurora (Zuma and Mandela family members)  -- Super Exploiters!!

If there is an abyss of desperation, these men abandoned at the mineworker hostels are in it. At Grootvlei, near Springs, the water and electricity has been cut, the toilets are a sanitary shock. On good days, they may have hot food. Two hours drive to the west, is the Orkney mine in Klerksdorp. There is an inescapable feeling of sadness here. Cooking pots are empty here too. Ntsani Mohapi has been on the mine since the mid '70s; he should be in line for a pension, but that is all gone now. "There are people who are crying, there are people who are dying, because we deal with people who are lying".
As things stand hundreds of miners are still in limbo; millions of Rands are outstanding in salaries. Wives have left husbands, children have dropped out of school, people have been blacklisted. They can't even claim Unemployment Insurance Funds.

The allegations against Aurora's directors are damning: since they took over the Pamodzi mines in 2009, which were fully operational at the time, they have been accused of not paying salaries, making endless broken promises, misappropriating UIF and pension fund money and stripping assets of mines they haven't paid for. (Source: Carte Blanche TV programme).

The BBC has extensively reported on how the Zuma (Jacob Zuma's nephew) and Mandela (Nelson Mandela's grandson) families exploit their workers and treat them worse than dogs. While the Zuma and Mandela family members grow rich and fat, they do not pay their starving workers, which effectively makes them slave owners. Is this the 'Freedom' Mandela and Zuma spoke about and fought for? They were not Freedom Fighters... They were not fighting for the Freedom of the people, rather for the enslavement of the people under a communist yoke.
The Grootvlei mine now stands in ruins. What could not be stolen and sold for scrap, is cut up and sold to the Chinese state-owned mining company, Shandong Gold. The white foreman at Aurora can only stand and watch as the looting of the mine continues. This is the same ANC who wants to nationalize the mines, the banks and the farms. Can you even imagine the utter enslavement of blacks, the dilapidation and ruin of South Africa that will follow? As the rivers of gold, and other critical minerals, that once flowed from South Africa dry up, one after the other, due to BEE and nationalisation, the world and especially the Oppenheimers will look back to the good old days, when the whites were in charge of South Africa and they were making their fortunes. The day will still come that they will realize that they might have betted on the wrong horse.

Destroying Africa

Update #4 Ask CITES to bring a SUSPENSION OF TRADE against South Africa and Swaziland for the White Rhinoceros.

Get others involved
GROSS NON-COMPLIANCE ON THE PART OF SOUTH AFRICA'S CITES MANAGEMENT BRINGS ABOUT A CALL FOR A SUSPENSION OF TRADE ON RHINOS
The authorities in South Africa that have responsibility for the issuing of CITES permits are guilty of committing gross errors in the issuing of export permits for rhino. The Dept. of Environmental Affairs has stated that this has been due to ignorance or "lack of training" but according to CITES it is the responsibility of the Management Authority of the exporting State to determine that records are kept accurately.
The population of White Rhinos of South Africa and Swaziland may be traded in live animals to appropriate and acceptable destinations and hunting trophies only. The CITES definition of an APPROPRIATE AND ACCEPTABLE DESTINATION states that mean that "only export, and not re-export, is permitted under its terms;"
AND YET MOST OF THE TIME RHINOS ARE EXPORTED TO ONE COUNTRY AND THEN RE-EXPORTED ON TO A THIRD OR FOURTH COUNTRY ETC. OFTEN OBSCURING THE FINAL DESTINATION.
The Management Authority in South Africa cannot plead ignorance. This matter was discussed at CoP11 at Kenya in April 2000 when the DEFINITION OF THE TERM 'APPROPRIATE AND ACCEPTABLE DESTINATIONS' was agreed upon.

Since then even further irregularities have occurred.
WHY IS SOUTH AFRICA NOT BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS?
WHO IS TURNING A BLIND EYE TO THESE PRACTICES AND WHY?
DO YOU AGREE THAT A "SUSPENSION OF TRADE" FOR THE WHITE RHINO IS NEEDED?
Please help us to stop these abuses - sign and share this petition and send it to your local CITES representative. (list of national contacts and contact information at http://links.causes.com/s/clD2Lr?r=xLAj)
